What They Say When The Cameras Are Off

Conservatives Mike Murphy and Peggy Noonan don’t particularly like the choice of Sarah Palin, if what they said when they thought they were off-mike is any indication.  After speaking with Chuck Todd, here’s what they had to say:

Peggy Noonan: “It’s over…The most qualified? No. I think they went for this – excuse me – political bullshit about narratives.  Every time Republicans do that … because that’s not where they live and it’s not what they’re good at and they blow it.”

Mike Murphy: “The greatness of McCain is no cynicism, and this is cynical.”
