Were The Anthrax Attacks Right-Wing Terrorism?

That’s the question Blue Texan asks at Firedoglake.  Bruce E. Ivins, the man about to be charged with initiating these attacks commited suicide just  before he was about to be charged. 

The people targeted were either liberal politicians or members of the media such as Tom Brokaw, who received this note:

And, Glenn Greenwald chronicles some of his bizarre behavior, such as letters he wrote to the Frederick News Post, including this portion of a letter touting his take on the 2004 election:

Whether Americans like it or not, the results of the presidential election have propelled charismatic and evangelical Christians into new heights of political power. Many of those individuals would agree that the laws of this nation should be compatible with the Gospel, if not actually based upon it.

 And this one:

…you can get on board or get left behind, because that Christian Nation Express is pulling out of the station!

Ivins’ attorney is asserting his innocence.
