Tom DeLay Throws John McCain Down The Stairs
“There’s nothing redeeming about John McCain,” he said to Chad Pergram of Fox News Radio.
NOTHING redeeming? Not one thing? Is he kind to animals and children? Does he give to charity? Did he at least stand up for his country and pay a huge price during a time of war? NOTHING REDEEMING?
The Texas Republican added that McCain “does betray conservative principles.”…The Texas Republican went on to dismiss McCain’s victory as “A blip. An aberration in the nominating process of the Republican Party.”…
When asked about the divisions in the party between moderates and conservatives, DeLay said “I don’t think there’s a schism in the party. The party doesn’t exist. It’s rebuilding.”
Next time I’m in the same place as Tom DeLay, remind me to back out of the room.
