There’s Something Happening Here

What it is ain’t exactly clear.

These word were going through my mind today as I was reflecting on the Obama phenomenon. Whether he wins or not, as Bob Herbert points out, he’s energized a new generation of voters and shown the art of the possible. Gail Collins also knows it’s not just about reforming health care, ending the war, or stopping global warming. It’s about a post-partisan America even if, at this moment, it’s only a dream. Collins’ best point is that Hillary Rodham would have been something Hillary Clinton can’t be: an Obama girl.

So, I went to look for a video of Buffalo Springfield, and as I watched the images here, I realized how relevant they are to what’s happening in 2008 America.
