HWJC: How Would Jesus Campaign?

Ed Rollins, the Huckabee hired gun is the nice man who said he’d like to knock out Romney’s teeth. He also proclaimed:

“The negatives feel good. It’s like being a boxer when you’re young. To me, hitting somebody, knocking somebody down, is a great feeling. Firing out a negative ad just feels amazing.”

Now Amanda Carpenter at Town Hall reports a conversation she overheard in Des Moines while taking notes on her computer at the kind of place where politicos hang out, a hole-in-the-wall eatery:

He distinctly talked about going negative in South Carolina and told someone on the phone to “put some good in there if you have to, with the bad. Do what you gotta do.”

-Rollins let the f-bomb fly twice and told his blonde female dining companion a joke about flying the Confederate flag in the South Carolina state capitol.

Can the Huckster put out ads that say “Christian Leader” and put up with this?
