If You Have To Brag About Size You’re Probably Exaggerating

Chris Horner of the oil industry-funded Competitive Enterprise Institute came on the TV show to denounce, once again, the UN’s Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change. Senator James Inhoff (R-Flat Earth Society) is touting a list of 400 scientists who disagree that global warming is a man-made climate issue. Horner had a difficult time hearing the truth from David Roberts of Grist. In fact he was filibustering so much I could barely get in a question. By the end of the segment, as I pointed out that there were many organizations that concur with the UN report, whose numbers far exceed the list of 400, Horner was reduced to shouting “Mine is bigger.”
