Maybe if stopped tweeting and holding rallies, he wouldn’t be starting with an empty administration.

Jonathan Bernstein: “We’re two days away from having a new president. But we’re apparently a lot longer than that from having a Trump administration with even a minimally functional ability to govern.”

“Overall, out of 690 positions requiring Senate confirmation tracked by the Washington Post and Partnership for Public Service, Trump has come up with only 28 people so far.”

If I was the leader of a foreign power and I hated America, this would be when I would try and do something. America has elected a bumbling, bloviating buffoon and his transition into power is a disaster. America is weak and in chaos, now would be the time to strike.

If there is a shadow government, now would be the time to step up to the plate.

No there isn’t a shadow government Mark. Unless Congress is nuked, and USA needed a replacement government via JFK’s Executive Order (falsely attributed to BHO44 by faux news.)

Putin doesn’t need to do anything. Give Trump a second term and there won’t be anything left of the US for “foreign powers” to destroy.

that is probably about the extent of names of people that he may know, or may have heard of before now…there may be a few interested in some chancy grifting and corruption, and the payoff will be huge…these folks seem like the bottom of the swamp creepy crawlies, instead of a functioning government…God will damn them, if HE hasn’t already….

He has only hired those that can multi-task

I think we have a new metaphor. Who knew that “draining the swamp” was another way to say incompetent.

    • Willys41 January 18th, 2017 at 23:34

      Can the swamp drain itself?

In a world where people will “self deport”, I suppose anything is possible.

DT fired 4,000+. Y’all knew 28 of 690 (4%) would happen. Making America Crater Again!

    • Willys41 January 18th, 2017 at 23:34

Well, he’s gonna have to bring back a whole lot of jobs from overseas just to compensate for all the federal workers he’s planning to fire.

  6. Willys41 January 18th, 2017 at 21:33

Well, see, he’s gonna eliminate all those jobs. Because, really, who needs all those people trying to tell Trump what to do. He knows what to do. He’s got his “gut instincts.”

It takes time to convert some of those assets into cash for the appointment. Look, it cost 1M just to have dinner with him. 200M doesn’t grow on trees you know.

sometimes it’s not easy to pee on demand.

    advice to potential appointees:
drink lots of liquids the night before your interview and carry along a sound track of running water!

Yeah, he just can’t stop firing people because that’s how you get the best Neilsen ratings.

Isn’t “management” supposed to be his forte, his skill?
