New declassified report: Russia ordered election interference to help Trump

Posted by | January 6, 2017 17:04 | Filed under: News Behaving Badly Politics

A report out Friday confirms that Vladimir Putin ordered interference with the U.S. election to help Trump.

From the report: “Russia’s goals were to undermine public faith in the US democratic process, denigrate Secretary Clinton, and harm her electability and potential presidency. We further assess Putin and the Russian Government developed a clear preference for President-elect Trump.”

To the partisan hypocrites who still insist this is no big deal, I suggest you try the following exercise.

    1. Collect every news report you have read on this subject.
    2. Replace every reference to Russia with Iran
    3. Replace every reference to Donald Trump with Hillary Clinton and vice versa.
    4. Replace every reference to DNC with RNC
    5. Imagine that Hillary Clinton won the EC and lost the popular vote

You still want us to believe you would all have no complaints?

It seems everyone but Trump knows this.

LOL Intel sources are giving this an A+ on its credibility but it’s being watered down by saying they thought Hillary was going to win anyway.

Can’t wait for the next trumpster tweet

This might also confirm Bernie was indeed sandbagged

Looking at that small except from the report, I can guarantee that trump (sic) does not understand all those multi-syllabic words. Remember, he is functionally illiterate, so don’t expect much.

My concern is not the past. There is nothing we can do to change history.

My concerns are two. 1) how to assess the effect of this interference, and 2) how can this be prevented from changing the result of the next elections?

A third concern is that if it is proven that Trump had direct knowledge of the hacking, would that rise to the level of “high crimes and misdemeanors?

well…It is Trump/Pence and they both knew about it…It was Pence who was attending all of the briefings, and he knew, and said nothing…that could mean a President Paul Ryan…sleep on that one…

How many “accidents” would have to happen before there’s a Democrat in office?
        (Asking for a friend, who’s a civics buff…)

I think it stays within the cabinet….still…I don’t really know the full succession…Paul Ryan would be worse than anyone else I can think of…imagine that he would sign all of his own legislation…
