And that’s your taxpayer dollars at work.

After two and a half years, the House Benghazi Committee has ended their right-wing media endorsed attempt to blame Hillary Clinton and the Obama administration for the deaths of four Americans during the 2012 attack on a temporary diplomatic facility in Benghazi, Libya.

The House Select Committee on Benghazi was created in May 2014 “to form a 12-member committee to investigate the Obama administration’s handling of the 2012 attacks” after Fox News’ unrelenting coverage of the attack for two years despite a review by the U.S. Senate Select Committee on Intelligence, and an independent report by the State Department Accountability Review Board (ARB) found no wrongdoing by the administration…

After more than two years and $7.8 million dollars, the House Benghazi Committee shutdown. USA Todayreported that while the House Benghazi Committee “accused the government of incompetence at various levels … the [final] report did not single out wrongdoing by then secretary of state Hillary Clinton.” And while Republicans on the committee called the investigation and the report a “‘final, definitive accounting’” of the attack, Democrats “contended all along that the committee was a political effort to taint Clinton”:

Just clearing the decks for the endless Email investigations. Then we can have Clinton Foundation investigations. Then we can have investigations into Clinton’s Rape, Murder and Chopping Up Children. Then………………………..

Should start with all of Trump’s shady at best, more likely illegal actions. That would last them well into the future. So much so that their grandchildren would have to pick up the investigations into his activities.

no problem. just have the republican ‘good campaign device’ fabricate more BS from a breitbart news article and comey’s wife can start screaming to have her arrested again!

Or more fake news from a couple of teens in Macedonia getting rich off the RWNJ’s idiocy and gullibility.

“accused the government of incompetence at various levels … the [final] report did not single out wrongdoing by then secretary of state Hillary Clinton.”

I don’t know, that unsecured basement server was either a demonstration of incompetence, or wrongdoing, and possibly both.

Either way, it cost her the election.

7.8 MILLION dollars later and you clowns can’t even find an overdue library book.
Now are you talking about Hillary’s server or Bush and Cheney’s server?
      You know?
The one that they kept at RNC headquarters that deleted over 2 million e-mails that you clowns don’t care about.
Yes it did cost her the election. A completely fabricated series of scandals that resulted in no charges or indictments whatsoever, just a steady drip, drip of phony allegations that were found to be as empty as a T-baggers head.
      You must be so proud.

How exactly? The only things anyone got off that server was what Clinton gave them. That is by definition secure.

      • trees December 13th, 2016 at 21:24

The slowly evolving Clinton response, the Clinton parsing, the Clinton lies, the improper removal from the State Department of official government records, the destruction of official government records, the refusal to acknowledge the impropriety…

        All of this…

It was drip, drip, drip, drip…..

The negative opinion. the dislike, the unfavorability, the refusal to embrace Hillary…

Her secret server was a big part this.

The only things anyone got off that server was what Clinton gave them.

You don’t think this factored in?

She completely removed from the State Department ALL OF HER OFFICIAL EMAIL COMMUNICATIONS.

She obstructed, destroyed, withheld, lied, denied, refused to acknowledge..

Her subordinates plead the fifth during a criminal investigation.

Yeah, that server was no big deal in the eyes of the American public.

        Sure

        • dilbert December 14th, 2016 at 04:47

          And the bullshit lies continue.
Thanks for adding to the pile trees.

        • Comicus December 14th, 2016 at 12:32

Now you’re moving the goalposts. The server was secure. If it wasn’t, it’s contents would be on Wikileaks. As for the accusations of her doing anything with official e-mails, feel free to provide proof. When you’re done, send it to the FBI too so they’ll have evidence enough to prosecute. I’ll wait.

The single wrongdoing discovered was the House Benghazi Committee

  5. Bunya December 13th, 2016 at 13:47

Now, THERE’S a good use of taxpayer money. Almost as good as money spent investigating a BJ.

  6. Nola Saint December 13th, 2016 at 16:17

But the refuse to spend a dime on the REAL scandal with actual proof of, that a foreign advisory – Russia, manipulated our elections. Distugisting partisan politics as usual. They should all be investigated to see what they knew and when and then charged with treason for helping or knowingly ignoring the Russian government’s acts of espionage to undermine our political system.

  7. StoneyCurtisll December 13th, 2016 at 20:31

Well now that the election is over, and Herr Trumpf has won…
What use is there for a “benghazi investigation”?

  8. Jeffrey December 13th, 2016 at 22:31

Quote from “The Taint” 2011 “The Taint poisons the minds of men. It turns them into raging misogynists: monsters who want nothing more than to crush women’s heads with rocks (or other objects).”

Trey Gowdy should be caned for his crimes.
