Clinton’s popular vote lead keeps growing

She’s approaching the 2 million mark.

Hillary Clinton’s popular vote lead surged above 1.72 million on Sunday night, with millions of votes still to count. At 1.3 percentage points, she has built a lead not seen in a losing campaign since Rutherford B. Hayes’s bitterly disputed election of 1876…

The 2016 results have no such disputes, however. Mrs. Clinton’s lead keeps rising on her strength in California, where her margin stands at 29 percentage points, up from President Obama’s 23 percentage points 2012. She has failed to close the gap in any of the swing states that she lost, though Mr. Trump’s lead in Michigan has dwindled to 11,612 votes, a bad night in Tiger Stadium.

Lurking at some right wing sites, I find that their favored talking point is that since Hillary’s popular vote lead is based largely on California tallies because of all the illegal non citizens who voted, she is not really winning the popular vote at all.

I was sorely tempted to turn off my cloaking device and ask if Hillary had such a potent, effective vote fraud operation, wouldn’t she have used it in the swing states she lost.

But I thought better of it. These people are immune to logic.

Yeah, I seen how some of those types claim that if we magically remove all the states on who have ocean front property, rump wins by 6 million votes. If I wasted time talking to these morons, I would say “yeah, trump would win but the average IQ would be 3 and they yearly income would be $1,200”.
