Obama approval rating hits four-year high

It’s a shame this couldn’t be translated into a Clinton victory.

…Obama’s approval rating is now at 57 percent, the highest it’s been in his second term, according to a new Gallup survey.

The previous poll, conducted in the first week of November, found his approval rating at 53 percent.The bump is consistent with how lame-duck presidents are viewed in the days after their successor is elected. Former President George W. Bush’s approval rating was 28 percent after then-Sen. Obama was elected in 2008 — a 3-point uptick from the last poll before the election.

Former Presidents George H.W. Bush and Bill Clinton also saw their stock increase when they became lame-ducks by 9 and 6 points, respectively.

Ronald Reagan’s approval rating after the 1988 election, meanwhile, matches the 57 percent Obama registered Tuesday, up 6 points from a poll before the race ended.

    I am swearing off polls for a while.

    As of last Tuesday night, it looks like they are in fact skewed.

      I don’t believe so unless it was intentional. The polls showed a rout which I believe caused a lot of Hillary voters to stay home. Trump didn’t get as many votes as Romney did 4 years ago. This lies directly at the feet of non voters.

        think about the 300k who were suppressed in WI. they wanted to vote. there are other issues as well. closing down over 700 voting polls across red states in black communities didn’t help.

    Love that the Liberals are still using the same incorrect polls, the same polls they used to exclaim that Hillary would crush Trump, to try and push the narrative that Obama is popular.

    If Obama was popular, Hillary Clinton would be our president-elect right now. The American people said no to his legacy and to the liberal ideology.
