    One of the great second acts in American History.

    I read his books from the 60s and there is no way I would have voted for him as much as he entertained me. (Trump fans should have such common sense.)

    But, he changed into a really great politician. One of the good guys.

    The bio is good to read, as it is easy to forget his entire lifetime of activism, and his amazing courage in the face of real dangers.
    Tom was a force for good, and never gave up, and always took up issues that were so very important to us all, and never went to battle over ideology, but over principles, and what was right.
