The Islamic State (ISIS) jihadist group on Monday confirmed the death of its propaganda chief, Wa’il Adil Hasan Salman al-Fayad, a month after the Pentagon said he was killed in a U.S.-led air strike in Syria’s Raqqa province.     what is the cost of killing a few replaceable bureaucrats? All of these few individuals are all easily replaceable. What is the purpose of these assaults?

      Generally speaking, the people who rise to the top of the pyramid are not “easily replaceable.” Most of them are the people with superior skills, knowledge, ambition, etc. It’s called “degrading the organization.” Yes, someone else will step into the vacant post but they will often be less effective.
