TRUMP: You could have done it if you were an effective; if you were an effective senator, could you have done it. But you were not an effective senator.

CLINTON: Under our Constitution, presidents have something called veto power.
This was a bizarre exchange. And not bizarre in the sense of the 2016 freak show focused on beauty queens and pussy grabbing and decades-old rape allegations. Bizarre in the sense that Trump, an actual major party nominee for president, appears to genuinely not understand why it is that Clinton, as a junior senator from New York, was not able to single-handedly overhaul the tax code.

Trump is a bumbling bloviating demagogue, nothing more. There is much he doesn’t understand, he does however know how to trigger people’s emotions. His strength lies in the weakness and corruption in the American political system. The more easily are government is bought and paid for by the oligarchy and the corporate masters, the more power someone like tRump will have. Facts are not important when people are angry, expression of that anger is. If you don’t like tRump or people like him. don’t support the oligarchy in its bid to take over America. The Deep State must not be allowed to exist.

I’m used to him speaking as if he thinks the president has inherited Gandalf’s wand (I’ll dport millions of “illegals” starting the day I’m inaugurated), but I didn’t know he also thought a single senator had that power. He has no clue how any part of the government works. Someone should ask him, just for laughs, what separation of powers means.

Rump probably failed American history and civics in school. It should be a standard policy that all candidates take a basic test on government and how it works, the Constitution, Bill of Rights, etc. Rump would fail the test. He is one clueless “candidate”…

Trump doesn’t know anything. He’s got lawyers who know things. He’s got tax accountants. He’s got gophers and secretaries. Does he actually know what the constitution is? Could he really name the three branches of the federal government?
