De Niro: ‘I’d like to punch him in the face’

Posted by | October 8, 2016 07:37 | Filed under: Media/Show Business Politics

Actor Robert De Niro spoke out in a video about wanting punch Trump in the face.

De Niro’s remarks came in a video produced by Anonymous Content, which has been making a series of short interviews for a voter initiative called #Vote YourFuture. The director of De Niro’s video, Tom McCarthy, asked him, “What do you care about?”

De Niro’s anti-Trump remarks were so emphatic that the producers concluded that it could not be part of the campaign, which is non-partisan. But it was given to Kelly’s show for airing and publicists for the production firm released it to the media on Friday.

In the video, De Niro also calls Trump “blatantly stupid,” “a punk” and a “bulls–t artist.”

Punch him where it really hurts, his ego.

What is worse…a man who talks trash in a private setting or a woman whose emails show she makes promises to wall street in secret, lies about her personal server, lies about her husband and discredits women who come forward concerning rape issues…I guess Bernie was correct. Hillary will look you in the eye and lie her a.. off.
This website will not show Hillary’s transcripts for good reason…attack Trump only.
    Beta males love the attacks…lol…

    • Tommie October 8th, 2016 at 14:20

How about Trump who still wanted “The central park five” executed for a crime they didn’t commit! Nice outreach to Blacks and Latinos right there!

      • Willys41 October 8th, 2016 at 16:48

Yeah, remember 2008? The Great Latino Outreach LoL!!!

      • boss October 8th, 2016 at 17:30

        Your point?
Malcolm X “Blacks are political chumps”…always have and always will.
Legal Latinos are not offended by buliding a wall. At least they should not be.

        • bpollen October 8th, 2016 at 17:33

Nice how YOU know all about what blacks and Latinos are and what they think. Because crackers ALWAYS know more about minorities than minorities themselves.

And, judging by his support amongst Latinos, it seems like Latinos think you’re full of not-shinola.

          • boss October 8th, 2016 at 17:47

Quoting Malcolm X makes you think I know all about the black experience?
This cracker has seen how blacks have been lied to since the 60’s yet they seem to like the slave trap Democrats have tied around their necks.
Latinos are like everyone else…they learn from the past.

            • StoneyCurtisll October 8th, 2016 at 17:58

I think quoting Malcolm X and supporting Donald Trump makes you a White Male Christian Nationalist/Supremacist who most likely has a confederate flag bumper sticker, or one hung on the wall of the basement you live in..

              • boss October 9th, 2016 at 11:06

I lived the days of Malcolm. You have no experience of what I know.

Ah, so you do not believe there are alpha men who are black or Chinese, or Indian, or Filipino etc.
In your narrow world only a white man would claim a difference between Alpha and Beta men.
I will admit to one thing, Liberals and Progressives are more inclinded to be Beta males. It not a bad thing to be Beta, its just nature.

0% to 2% black voters for Trump proves diversity is USA’s greatest asset, and that 68% of all eligible blacks vote. https://uploads.disquscdn.com/images/668aefddf710760b47c4c4ffd8a668e143e81322615914fed011789541450060.jpg

                      Keep beating that dead horse.

Support your “beta” label. Science says you are full of it. Please show actual studies that come AFTER the debunking that support your concept. If you ain’t full of it, you should have actual facts, studies, what we call evidence…

All I see is a lot of alt-right jargon, but nothing of any substance. Either you are capable of supporting your position, or you aren’t. If you aren’t, you show yourself to be an empty and ignorant suit. What WILL you do? Factual or foolish? Accurate or ignorant?

Scientific? WTF does that mean. You want me to show a study where Alpha and Beta are the same thing? Does this mean you think men and women are the same?…you are being silly.
Here one for you, post a “scientific” study showing no difference between Alpha and Beta humans.

A statement ONLY made by people who don’t actually have any facts to support their position.

If you find fault with the author of the study, and his refutation of his own conclusions, feel free to perform your own study debunking his debunking. But I will believe an ACTUAL scientist as opposed to a alt-right troll.

Can’t support your trope, so you lie, say scientific things like “you know I’m right” and “trying to defend your position is silly” in the face of an actual science-based defense, make lots of evidence free pronouncements… what is colloquially known as bullshit.

Put up actual data that is POST-1999 that refutes the study I directed you toward (and you lied about) or you have nothing worth further discussion. Of course you won’t do anything of the sort, because trollspeak is all you know.

First, It’s hard to believe that more Whites are more shot than Blacks since it’s not reported in the news! Second, I don’t like the rioting because people will not put money in those communities and it will continue to suffer! The peaceful protest I am for it but not the violence!

You know the whole “alpha male – beta male” trope has been discredited? By the same person who coined the phrase and espoused the erroneous belief?

As far as which is worse – you only list ONE failing for Trump. If this were his ONLY gaffe, your shtick might make a little sense. Since it isn’t his only gaffe, you are minimizing Trump’s failings and maximizing Hillary’s.

      • boss October 8th, 2016 at 17:38

Alpha males & Beta males are both part and parcel of the same discredited model of human behavior. (Discredited by the creator of said model.) If there are no Alphas, there can be no Betas. QED.

No one denies that Bill has raped women.
                      _____
No one outside of the right wing fantasy world.
No one in the real world believes it is anything but unfounded allegations.
That is like saying that no one denies that Reagan and Trump raped women because there were allegations.

Oh come on…you don’t really believe that do you?
Maybe the term rape is too descriptive. But everyone knows Bill is a predator. Much like most successful men…Bill Cosby is the same type of person. One of these days people will realize that all the women who accuse ole Bill are not lying.

Oh come on…you don’t really believe that do you?
                      ______
That is EXACTLY my question to you.
Bill was sought after by some types of women.

But why let facts get in the way?

Accusing Bill was a great way to get one’s 15 min, or in some cases rationalize the outcomes that some had hoped would have been different.
I think he liked the ladies, but there is no REAL evidence that it was anything but consensual.
That is why why former Reagan aide Bruce Bartlett said, “Many conservatives live in a bubble where they watch only Fox News on television, they listen only to conservative talk radio — Rush Limbaugh, Sean Hannity, many of the same people,” Bartlett told CNN’s Brian Stelter on Sunday. “When they go onto the Internet, they look at conservative websites like National Review, Newsmax, World Net Daily.”“And so, they are completely in a universe in which they are hearing the same exact ideas, the same arguments, the same limited amount of data repeated over and over and over again. And that’s brainwashing.”
It’s what ALL the cool kids are saying!

I think some were lying and some were engaging in rationalization.

Yep, all these women are lying…yet Clinton paid Jones…hmm…
Like I said, good ole Clinton and Cosby are two peas in a pod.
Hillary has destroyed any woman who dares to threaten the Clinton machine.

                      Clinton’s accusers include:

Paula Jones: A former Arkansas state employee, Jones sued Bill Clinton in 1994 for sexual harassment. Jones claims that in 1991 then Arkansas Governor Bill Clinton propositioned and exposed himself to her in a Little Rock hotel. Clinton eventually settled with Jones out of court for $850,000, but never admitted to any wrongdoing.

Juanita Broaddrick: Broaddrick, a former nursing home administrator, alleges that Bill Clinton, who was running for Arkansas governor at the time, raped her in an Arkansas hotel room in the spring of 1978.

Kathleen Willey: Willey was a White House volunteer aide who, in March of 1998, alleged on the TV news program 60 Minutes that Bill Clinton had sexually assaulted her during his first term as President.

Eileen Wellstone: Wellstone, an English woman, alleges that Clinton sexually assaulted her after she met him at a pub near Oxford University where Clinton was a student in 1969.

Carolyn Moffet: Moffet was a legal secretary in Little Rock in 1979, said she met Governor Clinton at a political fundraiser and was invited to his hotel room. Moffet alleges that she fled the hotel room after Clinton demanded she perform sex acts on him.

Elizabeth Ward Gracen: A Miss Arkansas who would go on to win the Miss America contest in 1982, Gracen alleges that she was forced by Clinton to have sex with him shortly after she won the Miss Arkansas competition.

Becky Brown: Becky Brown was Chelsea Clinton’s nanny. L.D. Brown, an Arkansas State Trooper and Becky’s husband, claims that Clinton attempted to seduce her in while the two were in governor’s mansion.

Helen Dowdy: Dowdy, the wife of one of Hillary’s cousins, alleges that in 1986 Bill Clinton groped her on the dance floor of a wedding.

Cristy Zercher: Zercher was a flight attendant aboard Clinton’s campaign jet from 1991-1992. Zercher told the Star magazine that Clinton groped her for over 40 minutes.

                    • OldLefty October 10th, 2016 at 07:58

Pretty much, yes. It was quite the fad, especially with Lee Atwater at the helm at the beginning.(And Hillary destroyed or tried to destroy no one. But it’s a nice story for the base.)
Meanwhile each one of these women (except for the consensual affairs have been debunked.
                      For example;
Kathleen Willey; She had a problem with the truth. She lied about being pregnant and miscarrying .
The Final Report of the U.S. Office of the Independent Counsel report stated “Willey gave false information to the FBI about her sexual relationship with a former boyfriend, and acknowledged having lied about it when the agents confronted her with contradictory evidence. There were also some differences in her Paula Jones and Grand Jury testimony. Also, Julie Steele, a friend, released an affidavit stating that Willey asked her to lie to corroborate her account of being sexually groped by Clinton.

Juanita Broaddrick also had a penchant for changing her stories and everyone involved had personal grudges against Clinton.
Broaddrick filed an affidavit with Paula Jones’ lawyers swearing that nothing happened. She even attended a fund raiser for Clinton AFTER the alleged incident.

                      And so on…..

I would have expected you to post a storyof Broaddrick attending a fund raiser.
The most disturbing point from last night’s debate was when it was exposed that Hillary Clinton represented a man who she knew was guilty of rape and the 12 year old girl who is now grown was at the debate. Is this the type of woman you want for president someone who defends rapist.

                    • OldLefty October 10th, 2016 at 13:12

Your statement is your own fantasy and that of the right wing bubble.
Bill Clinton was never guilty of rape and Hillary did her job as she was assigned to the case by the judge. The prosecutor, Mahlon Gibson, who phoned her with the judge’s order; “Hillary told me she didn’t want to take that case, she made that very clear.”
Gibson said Clinton called him shortly after the judge assigned her to the case and said, “I don’t want to represent this guy. I just can’t stand this. I don’t want to get involved. Can you get me off?”
“I told her, ‘Well contact the judge and see what he says about it,’ but I also said don’t jump on him and make him mad,” Gibson said. “She contacted the judge and the judge didn’t remove her and she stayed on the case.”

She then went on to the Children’s defense Fund.

But why let facts get in the way??

Meanwhile, there is more to the rape allegation of a 13 year old against Trump. That case is ordered by a judge to move forward.
Is this the type of MAN YOU want for president? Someone who “rapes” a 13 year old child??
Your statements are the diametric opposite of the truth.

and yet no proof of your fantasy that she attended Hillary’s fund raiser.
Hillary made many more comments than what you are spewing. She knew the dude was guilty after he fail the lie detector…which is why she said she no longer has faith in those tests and then chuckled.
facts obviously don’t get in your way…Hillary is guilty of protecting her husband when she knew he was guilty and YOU want to vote for a woman like that? Someone who has been caught lying to the public, lying to corporations, corruption and responsible for the deaths of many people.
Your statements are the diametric opposite of truth. Funny how that works.

She attended a BILL Clinton fundraiser.
“But Broaddrick could not remember the date, even the month, of the alleged 1978 incident. And NBC’s Lisa Myers reported that Broaddrick, a volunteer in Clinton’s first gubernatorial campaign, attended a Clinton fund-raiser three weeks later.”
                      http://www.washingtonpost.com/wp-srv/politics/special/clinton/stories/broaddrick022599.htm

As an officer of the court, when she is ordered by the judge, she follows the order.
That is our system of due process.
VERY, VERY different than the lie her critics propagate and promote.

Hillary has not lied even as much as many others and certainly she doesn’t hold a candle to the lies of Reagan, Bush and the greatest of ALL liars, Trump.

I suspect you either know this and can not bear to have your favorite bogeyman, invented for you by, as David Frum called it, the “Conservative Entertainment Complex” that has “Fleeced, Exploited And Lied To Republicans.”……

That link also proves she told her friends right after the rape but like many rape victims, they are ashamed. Regardless, Lanny Davis put an end to her quickly and MSNBC buried the story.

                      ____

She had agendas and nothing in her story checked out and her stories changed frequently. That is why there was not prosecution.
It was started by Sheffield Nelson who lost to Bill Clinton. The managers of her nursing home had a personal vendetta against Clinton as he commuted the death sentence of their dad as recommended by the parole board.

There is NO evidence of anything, you clearly don’t know the story, and yet when the judge ordered Trump’s rape case to proceed you ignore it.

There is no credibility there at all.

                    • boss October 10th, 2016 at 17:25

You mean the “Jane Doe” case? ” a witness, identified by the pseudonym Tiffany Doe, alleges she saw Mr Trump and billionaire-paedophile Jeffrey Epstein repeatedly rape the plaintiff, identified as Jane Doe”. Boy, that one has roots. Some third party he said, she said. Guess we will see what happens.
Likewise, there is no evidence in Trumps case. He claims he did nothing…kind of like Clinton. But you ignore that.
I’m not ignoring that the case is moving along. But you appear to be judging Trump guilty before the trial has begun.
For now this appears to be a publicity stunt as some have reported.
Stay tuned, Dec is when they will meet…can’t wait.

                    • OldLefty October 10th, 2016 at 17:39

                      Yes.
So this with enough evidence for the federal Judge Ronnie Abrams to order a status conference hearing on is a publicity stunt but the cases against Bill Clinton about which law enforcement found no credible evidence is real?

There is also his wife in a deposition. She recanted that, after the settlement.

But if these accusations against Trump bother you less than weak, dismissed accusations against Hillary’s spouse, then there is a credibility problem.

Shows how well you read, Bossy.

The original study, the one you INSIST is correct, was ENTIRELY on captive wolves. Your refutation is what should make you laugh, your poor comprehension skills should send you into paroxysms of laughter, but your repeated pushing of debunked science is pathetic, however.

              • boss October 9th, 2016 at 22:22

Now you are twisting. Talk about comprehension…I’m the one who informed you how your silly study was conducted.
                1. I never insisted your study was right…quite the opposite.
                2. I told you that your study was result concluded based on wolves in captivity.
                3. Why are you trying to start this spin?

Show me where I insisted the study was correct…what a putz.

                • bpollen October 9th, 2016 at 23:38

You told me that my study was only on captive wolves. You obviously can’t read very effectively because THAT was the complaint about the original “alpha/beta” study. Ergo, you complaint is about the study that supports YOUR position. As stated quite clearly in the article.

                  Here’s a pertinent excerpt:
“Although the notions of “alpha wolf” and “alpha dog” seem thoroughly ingrained in our language, the idea of the alpha comes from Rudolph Schenkel, an animal behaviorist who, in 1947, published the then-groundbreaking paper “Expressions Studies on Wolves.” During the 1930s and 1940s, Schenkel studied captive wolves in Switzerland’s Zoo Basel, attempting to identify a “sociology of the wolf.”

If you can’t do better than lying about both the original and later studies that refuted the original, then you aren’t capable of playing with the adults. Direct from the article, in black and white, clear proof that YOUR study was on captive wolves… that’s not spin. But claiming otherwise in the face of the evidence IS.

So, in conclusion… you have no support for your position about he alpha/beta crapola, your refutation of the studies is premised on lying about what the original AND subsequent studies, and your claim that you explained to me what clearly is erroneous understanding of BOTH pro and con studies.

Some win some lose. I would like to hand my assests to my children…that have been taxed my entire life without them paying additional inheritance tax. Loop holes provide way to set up estates to avoid taxes. If you want to change the system, vote for people who want to continue wealth distribution. The problem is that Bernie was cheated. So now you have Hillary who wants to protect the wealthy while lying her a.. of to the voters and Trump who is honest about taking advantage of the system Hillary helped set up.

                    • OldLefty October 9th, 2016 at 14:57

                      Many of the founders did not believe in inheritance;

“A power to dispose of estates for ever is manifestly absurd. The earth and the fulness of it belongs to every generation, and the preceding one can have no right to bind it up from posterity. Such extension of property is quite unnatural.”

                      Thomas Jefferson

North Carolina’s 1784 statute explained that by keeping large estates together for succeeding generations, the old system had served “only to raise the wealth and importance of particular families and individuals, giving them an unequal and undue influence in a republic” and promoting “contention and injustice.”

                      James Madison:

There is an evil which ought to be guarded against in the indefinite accumulation of property from the capacity of holding it in perpetuity by … corporations. The power of all corporations ought to be limited in this respect. The growing wealth acquired by them never fails to be a source of abuses.

In a letter to James Madison in 1785, for instance, Thomas Jefferson suggested that taxes could be used to reduce “the enormous inequality” between rich and poor. He wrote that one way of “silently lessening the inequality of property is to exempt all from taxation below a certain point, and to tax the higher portions of property in geometrical progression as they rise.”

Thomas Jefferson also famously wondered whether all hereditary privileges should be abolished since “the earth belongs in usufruct to the living.”

A tax on estate receipts was instituted by Congress in 1797, during the presidency of John Adams, to pay for a build-up of the US navy.

Andrew Carnegie called for an estate tax of at least 50% on millionaires, describing it as “the wisest” of all forms of taxation.

                      http://online.wsj.com/articles/whats-news-1889-business-finance-headlines-from-the-wsj-1404765688

Meanwhile, the estate tax is minuscule for most people.

Bernie wasn’t cheated. More people voted for Hillary, who has already done more for the poor than her critics., including voting against the Gitlitz loophole. (The Job Creation And Worker Assistance Act of 2002).

Bernie was cheated…its common knowledge. His supporters could argue that.
I was in Vegas on vacation during the Democrat convention and saw how Bernie supporters were treated. Wasserman was fired because of it, but I digress…
I have read many books on the founders of this nation. Ultimately a system where everyone contributes equally would share all that is produced…unfortunately we have to many (the vast majority) tryning to soak from the few.
There’s an old song by Ten Years After…”tax the rich until the rich are no more”.

It does not matter who hacked the emails, it is the message that counts and you are unable to accept it.

                      3) The point of the Russian connection is that they can be altered and the speed transcripts are not complete but excerpts.
                      4) Do you care about any of this when it comes to Trump?
For example, his taxes or his connections to Russia ?

The facts remain to be conclusively determined, but the investigation of these events should have the highest priority. If true, this is an attack not on one party but on the integrity of American democracy. And it may not be the end of such attacks. It is not unthinkable that those responsible will steal and release more files, and even salt the files they release with plausible forgeries.

If you support Trump, you have absolutely NO credibility criticizing Hillary as your smears have all been proven to be based on half truths, falsehoods, innuendo and exaggerations.

Hillary is very aware of hackers which is why she will not have a private server…maybe. Wait, she just now became aware of hacking?

The message from the leaked emails show Hillary going around the country giving speeches to Wall Street and other countries that she is for open borders and free trade open trade and then telling all her supporters the exact opposite. Now we find out that the DNC was leaking Bernie Sanders dirt to the Clinton campaign. You can deny the message if you want but it is there.

That is why I say you are confusing emails with speeches And we don’t know what she is talking about between the climate change policies that call for similar things or certain trade agreements . The fact is, she always said, ” I do believe in trade we are 5% of the worlds population we have to trade with the other 95% ”
And they were not leaking dirt on burning only one person suggested hinting at that and that was shot down, and I showed you a source yesterday where Hillary wanted Wasserman Schultz gone over a year ago .

Sorry, there is nothing to the emails and I never said the media was spinning. I said YOU were spinning.

Bernie is supporting Hillary because her agenda is close to his and because Trump is the most unfit candidate in US history and he knows it would take decades to undo the damage he would cause.

There is a reason why he has zero endorsements and why so many conservative publications who have NEVER endorsed a Democrat have endorsed Hillary.

Most see him as mentally unstable with the impulse control of a petulant 4 year old.

Obama community organized himself into the president of Harvard Law Review (voted for by many conservative students), the Illinois Senate, the US Senate and two terms as POTUS, and now enjoys an approval rating of 55%.

As for scolding Bush on the debt?

                      BEFORE the crash???

If you burn down the house and have little insurance, you have to go into deficit spending.

Bush’s contribution to the debt at $5.07 trillion, and Obama’s (including projections through 2017) at $1.44 trillion.

Estimates of the stimulus’ contribution run between $711 billion (the NYT) and $830 billion (CBO). While not a small number, it’s a fraction of the debt problem, and about half of what the US has spent on wars in Afghanistan and Iraq.

“Blaming Obama for spending to restore the economy conveniently ignores the fact that the Great Recession was hatched on Bush’s watch, Likewise, not to mention that the financial meltdown has forced the government to shell out about $400 billion in unemployment benefits over the past few years — a problem that Obama clearly inherited.”

The Bush tax cuts are the single largest contributor, according to the Pew Fiscal Analysis Initiative.

Connections like Trumps? Castro, the mob, Putin?

                      Putin’s Puppet

If the Russian president could design a candidate to undermine American interests—and advance his own—he’d look a lot like Donald Trump.

Internet, transportation. weapons have nothing to do with it. There was a time when Democrats we’re all up in arms about war. They were Stern Defenders of a marriage between man and woman. Now Democrats and liberals support this globalism and Empire Building. You can have it. The reason Russia wants Trump is because they know Hillary will go to war with them. If Russia wants Syria let them have it, what the hell does Syria have that we need.

                      They were afraid of aristocracy.

North Carolina’s 1784 statute explained that by keeping large estates together for succeeding generations, the old system had served “only to raise the wealth and importance of particular families and individuals, giving them an unequal and undue influence in a republic” and promoting “contention and injustice.”

                      Benjamin Franklin:

All the property that is necessary to a Man, for the Conservation of the Individual and the Propagation of the Species, is his natural Right, which none can justly deprive him of: But all Property superfluous to such purposes is the Property of the Publick, who, by their Laws, have created it, and who may therefore by other laws dispose of it, whenever the Welfare of the Publick shall demand such Disposition. He that does not like civil Society on these Terms, let him retire and live among Savages. He can have no right to the benefits of Society, who will not pay his Club towards the Support of it.

                      Benjamin Franklin again:

Finally, there seem to be but three Ways for a Nation to acquire Wealth. The first is by War as the Romans did in plundering their conquered Neighbours. This is Robbery. The second by Commerce which is generally Cheating… The third by agriculture, the only honest way, wherein man receives a real increase of the seed thrown into the ground, in a kind of continual miracle, wrought by the hand of God in his favor, as a reward for his innocent life and his virtuous industry.”

Point being that this is a concept as old as the Republic.

Are you implying that the government should take your property after you die and give it to someone else and tell your children tough luck…for the common good of America the government needs to take this land away from any of your descendants. How about Farms. Should be government also take Farms away from people and give it to the collective?
You are interpreting a very small part of what Benjamin Franklin wrote.
Benjamin Franklin wrote at the end of the post you gave… he thinks everybody should start putting seeds in the ground and grow their own food.
That would not work today, too many people collecting food stamps.
Globally, If everybody believed in Jesus we would not have any problems worldwide.

                    • OldLefty October 10th, 2016 at 07:57

Some of the self made wealthy who did not believe in inheritance DID believe that.
Others simply believe that your heirs should pay a tax on large estates since it is income for them.
As Warren Buffett said, “‘Without the estate tax, you in effect will have an aristocracy of wealth, which means you pass down the ability to command the resources of the nation based on heredity rather than merit,’ Warren Buffett told the New York Times in 2001. ‘[Repeal would be like] choosing the 2020 Olympic team by picking the eldest sons of the gold-medal winners in the 2000 Olympics.'”

“In 2013, the last year IRS data are available, only 660 decedents nationally reported owning any farm property,” Harl said. “However, the 100 decedents with estates valued at $20,000,000 or more had an average of $5,675,730 in farm property. I have been tracking this study for several years and the most striking feature is the increase in farm assets by the super wealthy. In my view, public policy is not served by eliminating the federal estate tax which is the force behind this push to argue that ordinary farmers, bona fide farmers, are likely to pay a huge amount of federal estate tax. It simply is not true.”
-Neil E. Harl, an Iowa State University professor who has written several volumes on the estate tax

0.8 % paid taxes upon inheriting farms.

Then the thing to do is sell your property to your children before you die at a deeply discounted price. To keep the government greedy fingers off of it. Why would anybody try to succeed if they know the government is just going to take it from them and give it to who? Or tax The Living Daylights out of their property and do what with the money? Line their own pockets? Last year tax revenues to the government were at an all-time high yet we are still 20 trillion dollars in debt. What is the government doing with all this money that you say they need.

That has been going on since the Founding of the Republic.
The way to change it is to change the make up of Congress.
Where were you when Obama tried to get tighter banking regulations or calling for a gift ban from lobbyists or when the House passed cram down?
                      Calling him a Marxist?
Meanwhile; Professor Brian Mittendorf said a balance sheet of assets and liabilities simply doesn’t paint a complete picture. Mittendorf compared the Clintons to a medical school graduate saddled with huge debts but with the prospect of a very hefty income down the line. The money they earned was from private sources.

Don’t you ever bother to factcheck?

fact check what. Do you know that the congress was not a full time job when this country was first formed. Up until 1855 Congress took very little. After the Civil War, politicians really kicked in the FU to America. The decade of the 90’s is when congress took the most when adjusted for inflation.
Here’s something for you to digest.

                      http://www.senate.gov/artandhistory/history/minute/Congressional_Pay.htm

why are you quoting Mittendorf? His words are irrelevant. Politicians have been sucking the till for many years. The founders did not design this type of system.

Politicians have been duping us for over 150 years.

I do however like the thought of changing Congress. Concerning Obama trying to get things done, I have stopped believing any politician being sincere…so, I did not pay attention to who they were trying to screw.

                    • OldLefty October 10th, 2016 at 18:54

Factcheck what others have tried to do to get the money out.

Back then, it was also less traveling because the nation was smaller. It was agrarian with much less going on in EVERY area from “Science and useful Arts, to defense to travel and commerce,

I am quoting Mittendorf because he is correct.
If you have “stopped believing any politician being sincere…so, I did not pay attention to who they were trying to screw….” then I guess you should just give up.

No I’m not giving up I’m going to vote for someone who is not a politician. Donald Trump is the only non-politician available. I don’t fear this nonsense that he’s a vicious dictator. The people who elect him want freedom and we will not allow him to take over so you need not fear there.
My point of the founders leading up to 1855 was the average congressman took 6 to 9 dollars annual pay. They meet for a short time to conduct political business and then return to their homes. Now we have politicians who make a career out of it and oppress the citizens more and more each election cycle. Remember when one person could work and the other would stay home to raise the family well that sure has changed hasn’t it. And government keeps growing. All the new casinos in Vegas are not being built because people are winning.
Politicians have to turn this country into a casino. Only they are playing with nuclear weapons and you get the Gamble who will do the best job.

He represents the very worst in politicians.

Stop the dramatic fear. People talked like that when Obama was elected. Obama came in as a socialist progressive and scared many on the right.
Now the Left is projecting gloom and doom concerning Trump.
He is not a politician. If he was do you think he would make stupid comments regularly. The one to fear is someone like Hillary who has been an elected politician for many years…started her political career 30 years ago, actually longer than that she worked on Democrat committees in the early seventies.
The lastest dump off emails show the DNC informing Clinton of Bernies plans.
Democrats and Republicans have been in power to the point where corruption is SOP.
Trump represents the sleeping giant, like Reagan did back in the 80’s.
I heard all the same garbage against Reagan from Media and Democrats.
We do not get to pick our parents. Jealousy of his beginning is not a reason to dislike Trump.

Those fears of Obama were not grounded on his record.
                      Those of Trump are.

“He is not a politician. If he was do you think he would make stupid comments regularly.”
                      _____
Of course he is and Yes.
He is the epitome of the greasy politician and the ultimate insider. He simply has never been accountable to voters.

                      Hillary?
Yes. If I need surgery, I want a doc who has practiced for years, not a Kardashian.

                      Political parties are private clubs.
                      The leaked emails ;

There was a single email where one staffer floats the idea of intervening in the primaries by questioning Sanders’ religious beliefs in the South, but that idea was shot down.

First, it’s clear than over the course of the campaign, an enormous amount of bad blood developed between the organization and the Sanders camp. This likely dates back to the NGP-VAN brouhaha. The objective facts were that a Sanders staffer breached the Clinton campaign’s data.

The DNC Leaks would be a big nothingburger aside from the fact that they entailed a very serious breach of donors’ private data, including financial information.

Why do you think Bernie is supporting Hillary?

” DNC informing Clinton of Bernies plans”????
Do you think that Bernie submit “plans” to the DNC and that they are supposed to be secret???

What are you talking about??? (I know what right wing media says, but it is public information ….basically advertising for the candidates, including Bernie.)

Trump represents the Klan, the Confederacy, the Neo Nazis and the White Nationalists.
As Jeet Heer said, “Trump & Russian state media both swim in same sewer of alt-right conspiracy theories”

The rest of the Trump supporters keep falling for the same nonsense from the same con men in different costumes, keep whining about the results and then jump on the next con man’s bandwagon

And Reagan began the dismantling of the middle class, proving that trickle down makes peons of us all.

Bernie supports Hillary because he hates Trump and I would not be surprised to see a pay off if Hillary is elected like the leaked emails have shown concerning a few business owners who donated to her campaign.
Obama was a two bit community organizer with no executive experience and a whole bunch of connections to people that hate America.
Do you remember when Obama chastised Bush for increasing the debt…but after he become President, he doubled it.
After Reagan stepped down, the following Presidents dismantled every thing he was trying to do. I can say, the 80’s were very prosperous for people who wanted to work. Both Bushes were terrible. Bill Clinton was ok but after 8 years of progressive Obama economy, we have a much higher percentage of citizens added to Government dependency.
Our kids will be the ones to suffer if Hillary get her teeth in the White House.
Is the middle class now people who depend on a portion of their income in the form of food stamps, child care, SNAP or any assistance?
Nope…I’m done with politicians. Like Brexit, there is a ground swell of people who can read between the lines.
Media is desperately trying to convince you what an ass Trump is.
For me, the Lies from Hillary over shadow the mistakes of Trump.
What is your take on Hillary admitting two different position depending who the audience is or endorsing open borders and trade to other countries while saying she is against it to voters?

Check this out from AP. More is coming and Hillary will have some explaining to do.

WASHINGTON (AP) — Behind closed doors, Hillary Clinton adopted a rather more accommodating tone with Wall Street than she has on the campaign trail.

In private paid speeches to financial firms and interest groups, the Democratic presidential nominee comes off as a knowing insider, willing to cut backroom deals, embrace open trade and grant Wall Street a central role in crafting financial regulations, according to excerpts obtained last week through hacked campaign emails provided to WikiLeaks.

Compare that with her public remarks in the presidential race. For voters, Clinton has embraced the rhetoric of a class warrior: Higher taxes on the wealthy. Tougher rules for Wall Street. Empathy for the financial burdens of ordinary Americans.

The gap between her private and public remarks helps explain the relatively high levels of distrust that voters, including some of her own supporters, have expressed about the former secretary of state, New York senator and presidential spouse. Privately, to audiences at Goldman Sachs and others, Clinton expressed a philosophy that in some ways clashes with the progressive vision she has articulated while campaigning.

Here’s a breakdown of the differences:
To read the rest, you can look it up if you care to…and don’t forget pay for play. there is to much corruption. Trump is the only answer between the 2 candidates.

(part 3) We have more people “added to government dependency” since the crash of 2008.

Eric Miller, 28, with bad teeth and an accent as thick as his tattooed arms, says he does not care about politics. He voted once, but can’t remember for whom. But one thing is clear: He does not like Obama.

“I guess Democrats just worry about money in their pocket, what they and their friends are doing. They’re not worried about us small people,” Miller said.

“The Republicans, they are the ones that know … raised up like we have, you know. Know what it’s like, what we need, what shouldn’t been taken away,” Miller added.

“If there weren’t government programs, it would be a ghost town,” Miller said. He gets $380 on the sixth of every month, and with that he has to support himself and his girlfriend.

“It’s unfortunate, when the checks come out, there’s a festival atmosphere in Jackson,” said Mike Bryant, chairman of the Breathitt County chapter of the Republican Party.

“If someone dared say, maybe we need to rethink this food stamp program, they’re going to hang you from the nearest tree,” he said.

                      Snap??

Like when Gingrich called Obama “the Foodstamp President”?

“We asked the U.S. Department of Agriculture’s Food and Nutrition service for month-by-month figures going back to January 2001. And they show that under President George W. Bush the number of recipients rose by nearly 14.7 million. Nothing before comes close to that.”

I will work my butt off to protect my children and grandchildren from a Trump presidency which would be closer to a banana republic than anything “American”.

I think Hillary knows that with 535 members of Congress, we have to make deals. There is not two different positions. Let me repeat; she said, in May, ” I do believe in trade we are 5% of the worlds population we have to trade with the other 95% ”

Also as they said, have you looked at the deals Lincoln had to make??

Meanwhile, what is YOUR take on Trump’s words and Trump’s actions being the EXACT opposite?

In My mind, the lies of TRUMP overshadow the compromises of Hillary.

If you are “done” with politicians, then you better not vote for Trump, a small needy little man in search of a balcony, and perhaps you should move to Somalia.

You think I need the MEDIA to tell me what an ass Trump is???

He does a great job of that all by himself.

When he said, “I have people [in Hawaii] that actually have been studying it and they cannot believe what they’re finding,” and it turned out he was lying and just playing to a niche audience’s hopes and dreams, that showed you right there what a two bit swindler he was.

Then he showed you that his actions are the EXACT opposite of his rhetoric and that he profits from illegals, outsourcing, foreign entanglements and fake charities.

Pay to play is only in the Trump Foundation, not in the Clinton Foundation. (but you have to read more than the headline.) not to mention the fraud of Trump U.

And no one I know of is more corrupt than Trump.

Ĺol…we shall see. One thing I know, when CA increased my payroll taxes and my net revenues decreased from 55% to 29%, I closed the doors, sold out, moved to a business friendly state. There was an exodus of businesses from CA starting late 80’s, I left in 94.
Now the CA payroll tax has been reduced to an acceptable level. Look at NY. They are giving free tax status to new businesses.
Your fears of Trump are a little dramatic, Hillary has never voted against a war or voted to reduce taxes. She is part of the problem this country faces. She created it.
You just admitted there are 535 members of Congress. Then you say Trump will turn this into a Banana Republic. You must think all members of Congress and all citizens of the United States are a bunch of Limp wristed pansies. Your fear mongering might work with grandchildren but not adults.

I was thinking about part of your comment and it occurred to me that you mentioned less travel back then. It actually took longer to travel 50 miles by horse and buggy then it does to fly 3000 Miles by jet.

                    • OldLefty October 11th, 2016 at 14:15

By the time you get to the airport , get through security , get your flight delayed or canceled ?

Your article does not say what the total loss for America was, it only says Trump represents 2%. And makes a lot of quotes from Trump supposed to be.

                    • OldLefty October 9th, 2016 at 14:51

My article is about net operating losses claimed by Americans on their returns in the year 1995.

                    • boss October 9th, 2016 at 14:52

How does your article come up with 2%. I’m not disagreeing 2% might be the correct number but what was the total loss for America in 1995?

                    • OldLefty October 9th, 2016 at 15:14

Total net operating losses claimed on all individual income tax returns in 1995 amounted to $49.3 billion.
                      Trump’s losses were 916 M; approximately 2%

no, America elected Hillary. tRump was selected. he lost by 3mil to Hillary. he has no mandate, he is illegitimate. why do you think he’s still crying? because he lost, America said no. the gerrymandering and voter suppression in the swing states helped him. it was not a win if you need Russia, the GOP/RNC and comey w/the FBI to interfere. deal with it dude, he lost bigly.

Is Rusia exposed Hillary’s and DNC corruption, why is that a bad thing…Im glad we found out how corrupt she is.

Comprehension: I didn’t either. I quoted the most conservative statistical “3:2” probability. Ask someone who maybe literate to use a dictionary, looking up polysyllabic words to read to you, that you clearly don’t understand.
