Giuliani: Beyonce’s performance with mothers of gun violence victims ‘a shame’

Rudy Giuliani continues to stand up for police, which is understandable, but with no compassion for those who have been victims of police violence.

The mothers of several victims of police shootings walked the red carpet with Beyoncé before the show Sunday night at Madison Square Garden, as “Fox & Friends” co-host Ainsley Earhardt noted while showing a clip of her backup dancers dressed as angels before being shot down.

“Her dancers were circling around her and one by one, they fell to the ground, and there were red lights underneath them. And that was supposed to symbolize cops killing black individuals,” Earhardt told Giuliani, who responded, “You’re asking the wrong person because I had five uncles who were police officers, two cousins who were, one who died in the line of duty. I ran the largest and best police department in the world, the New York City Police Department. And I saved more black lives than any of those people you saw on stage by reducing crime and particularly homicide by 75 percent.”

…Co-host Brian Kilmeade commented, “And Beyonce is an extremely popular and powerful performer, and when she does stuff like that, that message to the next generation is pretty indelible.”

“It’s a shame,” Giuliani remarked. “It’s a shame.”

I don’t know bout anyone else, but I have come to the conclusion that all politicians on the right, and maybe even a few on the left, are literally mentally ill and should be evaluated somehow before given any power at all. When i becomd king of the world I will require drug tests and mental examinations for anyone involved in politics.

But when Ted Nugent was onstage referring to Hillary Clinton as a “worthless b*tch”
Giuliani and the rest of the cretinous hypocrites of the right wing remained silent.

    F*ck off Rudy…

OP: “Rudy Giuliani continues to stand up for police, which is understandable, but with no compassion for those who have been victims of police violence.

    Which is exactly the point.
The notion that everything has to be seen in black and white comes from extremists on the Left and Right. This false approach to issues insists that if someone we dislike says something, we have to automatically diasgree with it. It holds that we can only see one side of an issue, and it reduces complex, nuanced human situations to cartoons.

We sure as hell need the po-lice. Just look at how quickly people revert to savagery when there is no authority. We need good po-lice and we have lots of them.
We also have some bad ones as well as that “blue wall of silence” that has to go.
By the same token, citizens need to know not to resist arrest or assault the po-lice verbally or physically. Do what the cop says and plead your case in court, not on the street.
When the other party is in the wrong, it is stupid to ruin your case by placing yourself in the wrong, too.

Way to go, Rudy. Just when Trump is making noises about reaching out to African Americans, you go and take shots at Beyonce.
While your latest ration of dumbass may be appealing to the GOP base, in order to win Trump is going to have to expand his appeal far wider than just the hard core Republicans. He is going to have to pick off millions who voted for Obama. You just made that task more difficult.

    Way to go, Rudy.

He might as well stand in his lawn and shake his fist, he has become that one uncle no longer able to hide his racism that no one want to sit next to at Thanksgiving.
