Trump doubles down on Obama being ISIS ‘founder’

Posted by | August 11, 2016 15:27 | Filed under: News Behaving Badly Politics

On Hugh Hewitt’s radio show, Donald Trump continued to say President Obama founded ISIS.

Trump was asked by host Hugh Hewitt about the comments Trump made Wednesday night in Florida, and Hewitt said he understood Trump to mean “that he (Obama) created the vacuum, he lost the peace.”

Trump objected.

“No, I meant he’s the founder of ISIS,” Trump said. “I do. He was the most valuable player. I give him the most valuable player award. I give her, too, by the way, Hillary Clinton.”

Hewitt pushed back again, saying that Obama is “not sympathetic” to ISIS and “hates” and is “trying to kill them.”
“I don’t care,” Trump said, according to a show transcript. “He was the founder. His, the way he got out of Iraq was that that was the founding of ISIS, okay?”

    No. You’re lying again, ok.

  2. mea_mark August 11th, 2016 at 15:41

There is something definitely wrong with tRumps brain. He isn’t processing the info he gets in his head the right way. Some things stay but are missing parts, and some things just don’t seem to ever get processed at all. It really is looking more and more like he may have alzheimer’s or a combination of it with some other mental issues. Don’t you have to be of sound mind to run for president? It seems like it would be prudent to have his mental health checked to make sure he is of sound mind to even be in charge of his own affairs, let alone the countries.

    • Roctuna August 11th, 2016 at 18:50

You just have to be over 35 and a natural-born citizen. Reagan was probably displaying symptoms of Alzheimer’s even in 1980 and certainly by his second term, so no, you don’t have to be of sound mind to be POTUS.

      • mea_mark August 11th, 2016 at 19:32

Well, this mess we’re in started with Reagan, maybe it will end with tRump. All things are cyclical.

    • robert August 11th, 2016 at 23:52

the RNC had some quality time with the trumpster probably while holding a thick folder and some video that will destroy him if he doesn’t start talking like they do.

  3. Suzanne McFly August 11th, 2016 at 15:58

Complete gobbledygook, makes no sense, rump is certifiable.

    • Mike N. August 11th, 2016 at 16:41

As Uncle Joe would say, it’s a bunch of malarkey!

      • TiredOldGuy August 11th, 2016 at 19:01

As my Uncle Bill would say, he’s a f*cking idiot!

  4. Gary Parillo August 11th, 2016 at 16:03

Even when corrected by Hewitt on his accusation that pres.Obama is the founder of isis, think about that, even when presented with facts, little donny says,”I dont care,he was the founder”. I dont care about facts and reality says the psychotic republican nominee for president. This nut is getting worse,he is losing touch with reality. They usually call that mentally ill! And still, and yet, there are repukes backing him.He is becoming more dangerous each day.The man is Insane!

    • Roctuna August 11th, 2016 at 18:52

He pushes the “facts” that his base wants to believe. That worked for him in the primaries but we see different results now. The rest of the voting public is more well-informed than Herr Drumpf’s base and it’s showing. The trouble is he thinks the same strategy will win against HRC. All that aside, I do think he’s more than a little crazy.

      • Gary Parillo August 11th, 2016 at 21:10

Your right.Even that “outspkenness” that worked well for him in the primaries,is beginning to backfire on him now,as more and more of his base are wishing him to shut up and stick to script. We hear of more repukes every day now stating they can no longer support him,and even the ones who try to come to his defense on his continual ignorant statements,if you read their body language, are very uneasy and unsure. The icing on the cake will be when HC devastates him in the debates.

        • Roctuna August 11th, 2016 at 21:35

At this point I’m not sure he will debate her. He’ll find a lame-ass excuse to weasel out.

          • Gary Parillo August 11th, 2016 at 22:33

I cant remember any election where there wasnt a debate. That would be unprecedented, but then again, hes unprecedented.Seems he would need something better than a lame excuse in order to save face, like some medical excuse, but even that would backfire.I think hes pretty much left with no way out.Maybe he will call his friend Putin and ask him to stir up a war in hopes of network cancelation.

            • Roctuna August 12th, 2016 at 00:25

              • whatthe46 August 12th, 2016 at 00:41

punking out as usual. Warren will tweet, tRump is scared of a girl chewing him up and spitting him out in a debate.

              • Gary Parillo August 12th, 2016 at 01:36

Thanks for that link.Wow! He really seems to be plotting a way out. That would devastate the repub party, hopefully.

            • whatthe46 August 12th, 2016 at 00:36

              the foot thingie came back.

              • Gary Parillo August 12th, 2016 at 01:03

I had to think about that one.Oh,you mean the bone spurs that only occur when he needs an excuse to avoid something unpleasant.Well they could let him sit down!

                • whatthe46 August 12th, 2016 at 01:20

the spur moved up to his ass. or rather, he couldn’t sit, because his head is so far up his own ass.

                  • Gary Parillo August 12th, 2016 at 01:39

Then he would have his fake doctor create a new medical disorder, bone spurs of the cranium. In his case it might be believable.

          • StoneyCurtisll August 12th, 2016 at 12:19

            Like a football game…:)

    • fahvel August 12th, 2016 at 03:49

no joking: has there been anyone who has diagnosed his mode of thinking from a serious psychiatric point of view?

      • whatthe46 August 12th, 2016 at 04:02

no need. he talks to himself when he needs advice. only he can tell you if somethings wrong with him. duh.

“I’m speaking with myself, number one, because I have a very good brain
and I’ve said a lot of things. In fact, in my book, in 2000, I talk
about Osama bin Laden, and I do remember someone putting the book in
front of Joe, and Joe saying, No way he talked about it, no he wrote
about Osama bin Laden before the World Trade Center came down, and they said, No, he really did. And I remember Joe looking at the book saying, I
don’t believe it, that’s amazing, OK? So I know what I’m doing, and I
listen to a lot of people, I talk to a lot of people, and at the appropriate time I’ll tell you who the people are, but I speak to a lot of people. But my primary consultant is myself, and I have a good instinct for this stuff.” ~ Donald Trump 03/16/16

        TRUE QUOTE

        • StoneyCurtisll August 12th, 2016 at 12:19

A narcissist need only consult them self, no one could give better advice than the person they love/respect/worship than them self…..

It does not matter what spin is put on it after the fact , the sheep only hear what Trump said

  6. dogsRgoodpeople August 11th, 2016 at 19:45

He’s the leader of a cult now. Saying things of this nature makes his sheep go crazy for him. He will continue this until he loses in November. And he does want to lose. He knows he can’t handle the job of POTUS. But he’ll handle his flock and bleed them for all he can.
The most interesting thing Trump has said recently:

    .
“And at the end, it’s either going to work or I’m going to have a very, very nice long vacation.”

    • StoneyCurtisll August 12th, 2016 at 12:16

The cult of Trump is spot on~!
That’s exactly what the few followers left of him are.

  7. crc3 August 11th, 2016 at 22:56

Why the hell is Rump worried about Obama? Obama is out of there soon. He just says things (anything) to spark a reaction and his tactics are working like a charm but he’s as nutty as a fruitcake….

  8. William August 11th, 2016 at 23:24

    Actually ISIS had two fathers.

  9. robert August 11th, 2016 at 23:43

No worries the trumpster will get it right… Give it time

  10. granpa.usthai August 12th, 2016 at 01:07

    – and I’m saying trump, the gop candidate for POTUS that refuses to release his CROOKED TAX RETURNS is part of the group that has been funding ISIS through his real estate banker buddy in Dubai.

  11. MyDogsAreSmarterThanYou August 12th, 2016 at 01:19

That’s right, boys and girls. The Republican nominee just called the President of the United States a terrorist.

    • whatthe46 August 12th, 2016 at 01:23

and the soon to be, a co-founder, thus, the President’s assistant.

    • StoneyCurtisll August 12th, 2016 at 12:14

And just a day after calling gun owners to assassinate the future President of the United States, Hillary Clinton..

  12. fahvel August 12th, 2016 at 03:46

is this piece of merde really as stupid and ignorant as he poses? That in itself should terrify even ignorant voters.

    • whatthe46 August 12th, 2016 at 03:55

ignorant voters, will never recognize themselves.

  13. bpollen August 12th, 2016 at 05:32

Zarqawi created Al Qaeda in Iraq (AQI) in 2003 or 4
Zarqawi is killed and leadership passes to al-Masri in 2006
Later in that year, al-Masri renames AQI to ISI, Islamic State in Iraq.
In 2010, al-Masri was killed, and al-Baghdadi takes over.
In 2013, ISI merges with the Nusra Front (Syrian Al Qaeda affiliate.)
The new merger is rebranded as ISIS/ISIL.

So which is more believable? It was one of those ^^^ guys, or an Illinois State Senator was able to bi-locate and simultaneously be in Illinois and hangin’ with terrorists in Iraq. OK, there’s also the “time-machine” many people have said he owns….

    • StoneyCurtisll August 12th, 2016 at 12:11

      Exactly…
At the top of the page I posted a link to the rise of ISIS…

      • bpollen August 12th, 2016 at 14:51

While it’s hardly surprising that Trump told a lie, he appears to be getting to the point where he’s saying “F*ck plausibility, I’m just going to throw as much fake poo at that fan as I can.”

        • StoneyCurtisll August 12th, 2016 at 15:32

I have never seen anyone try harder to lose an election than trump….

nothing stands in the way of a trump lie

In short, the war objective could be lost because ISIL will not go away or be exterminated completely
