Conservatives fume at success, patriotism of Dem Convention

Jealous a little?

The Democratic National Convention has offered a Americans competing — and compelling — vision to the dark, dystopian fantasy served up last week by Donald Trump.

They’ve woven traditionally conservative themes, such as patriotism, military service, small-town values and the virtues of hard work, into an inclusive and socially liberal narrative lauding shared sacrifice and civic virtue.

And no one’s more mystified than Republicans, who’ve watched their rival scoop up all the political ground that Trump abandoned in his improbable and divisive presidential campaign.

The RWNJs were in full troll force on Yahoo last night (I know, I know; “Yahoo”…, but you’re no better!). It was a C&P fest of extraordinary magnitude.

    • whatthe46 July 29th, 2016 at 09:03

c&p? and why on earth does any of the RWNJ’s think they are patriotic by any means, and democrats aren’t? and no, we are not the party that they were.

“Cut & Paste”…there was hardly 1 original post in 10.

    • robert July 29th, 2016 at 09:28

Verizon just bought yahoo so let’s see if they clean up the rw bs

      • Hirightnow July 29th, 2016 at 10:07

That’s fitting, because most of the RW trolls there seem to be saying “CAN YOU HEAR ME NOW?” with their posts, anyway.

        • robert July 29th, 2016 at 17:47

I gave up yahoo years ago. Don’t even read the news on that site

It is amazing all the trolling you can accomplish when you live in mommy’s basement and have no life outside where the sun shines. Hell, I believe most of them have at least 10 accounts so they can go back and agree with themselves because no one else will.

      • Hirightnow July 29th, 2016 at 10:22

Heh. I got replied to on a month old thread yesterday, and the reply had been upvoted. I replied back “You upvoted your own post?”, and got a reply from the upvoter, whom I proceeded to ask how he knew to reply, as I had been talking to the original poster. At that point, the troll proceeded to upvote himself with several different accounts, and reply to me with a third, admitting it.

Some people need to feel special, I guess.

I got a reply from 8 months ago.

Wow, how do they lack the ability to comprehend such a simple concept? I have gotten into discussions with these types but I research and look for the correct answer just so they can spew crap off like a rump press rep the moment after. I no longer waste my time or energy, it’s not like these people are seeking to be educated with factual evidence. They eat up right wing lies and spew them all over message boards.

Its hard to watch college grads laugh at their own jokes . It’s even harder to call any of them adults ,maybe if there were 1/2 empty liquor bottles on the table ?

      • robert July 29th, 2016 at 09:46

Don’t worry about it, only about 4 other people understand him on a regular basis

    • mistlesuede July 29th, 2016 at 09:49

I’m pretty sure the entire Bush family is voting for Hillary with the exception of Marvin who supports someone else. I didn’t read beyond the headline because I so didn’t care.

  5. Suzanne McFly July 29th, 2016 at 10:09

This is who we have been, we just don’t wear it on our sleeves. The people who do announce it constantly are just trying to convince you and themselves that they are patriotic believers. See the difference? One is real and one is made up (as the great Bill Clinton has said).

    • Tommie July 29th, 2016 at 11:15

When people tell you they are great! They usually are not all that great!
