Trump jumps on Baton Rouge officers’ deaths to complain about ‘lack of leadership’

Posted by | July 17, 2016 13:55 | Filed under: News Behaving Badly Politics

Donald Trump never misses an opportunity to not be presidential.

Trump issued a brief statement online this afternoon on the horrific shooting of multiple cops in Baton Rouge today.

Trump said, “We grieve for the officers killed in Baton Rouge today. How many law enforcement and people have to die because of a lack of leadership in our country? We demand law and order.”

After Dallas, Trump delivered a speech in which he referred to himself as the “law and order candidate.”

    My words to Donald Rump:

F**K you and the horse’s ass you rode in on!!!

    • rig slip July 17th, 2016 at 14:27

      Go easy on the horse…
      Do Trump twice….

      • Red Mann July 17th, 2016 at 14:34

        Well, Trump IS a horse’s ass, so…

  2. granpa.usthai July 17th, 2016 at 14:31

COWARD condon’s entire adult life is deeply rooted in ‘fleece and flee’

I simply cannot make any connections with him and any resemblance of ‘law and order’.

  3. Red Mann July 17th, 2016 at 14:33

The number one thing that could slow down all these killing is sensible gun control and whose party is totally committed to block any and all attempts at that?

  4. StoneyCurtisll July 17th, 2016 at 14:49

Looks like the chickens have come home to roost……

    • Tommie July 17th, 2016 at 15:00

Someone said that on Mediaite and got attacked for siding with the shooters and it was done viciously!

      • StoneyCurtisll July 17th, 2016 at 15:01

Now you know why I do not frequent mediaite….:)

        • Tommie July 17th, 2016 at 15:03

But it’s fun to get in the minds of stupid people and when they are losing, they resort to name-calling, it’s great!

          • StoneyCurtisll July 17th, 2016 at 15:23

In reality, you are just feeding them what they want…
They seek attention, negative attention is even more appealing to them..
Negative attention is what they have experienced throughout their life…
As children they act out to get attention form their parents…
It may be setting fires, abusing siblings, disruptive behavior, or vandalism…

To the internet Troll…(just like the petulant child). Negative Attention is better than not getting any attention at all…

            • Tommie July 17th, 2016 at 15:40

But what pisses them off is I come with positivity and laughter and they don’t expect that!

            • alpacadaddy July 17th, 2016 at 17:01

              Ah, the secret of Trumpism!

        • Tommie July 17th, 2016 at 15:05

There is a guy by the name of Earl Turner who is using racist names against Blacks on that site! He is getting destroyed by us! He should be getting banned soon!

          • Larry Schmitt July 17th, 2016 at 15:06

            He’ll just create another account.

            • StoneyCurtisll July 17th, 2016 at 15:15

That is the sign of a real loser, someone who has nothing better to do than troll on the internet….
those people need our pity, as well as our disgust…

              • Larry Schmitt July 17th, 2016 at 15:17

Sorry, I have no pity to spare for them.

  5. Tommie July 17th, 2016 at 14:58

Using this for political gain! Classic Trump in action!

  6. StoneyCurtisll July 17th, 2016 at 15:00

    Yeah right……
Donald Trump is going to put a stop to that nonsense….
Just like he is going to build a wall, of put coal miners backs to work or Steel workers…….
Trump is living in a fantasy world….

    • Tommie July 17th, 2016 at 15:02

You have to say whatever to get in office! Even when Trump knows he can’t get all that bullsh*t done!

      • StoneyCurtisll July 17th, 2016 at 15:03

But it doesn’t stop him from lying about it…:)

    • Larry Schmitt July 17th, 2016 at 15:04

And bring jobs back from China and Mexico, even though the Donnie-branded crap he sells is made in China and Mexico.

      • Tommie July 17th, 2016 at 15:07

And he never brought any of his businesses back to America!

        • Larry Schmitt July 17th, 2016 at 15:09

They would have gone Chapter 11 anyway.

      • StoneyCurtisll July 17th, 2016 at 15:11

        Exactly…
And the only way to bring those jobs back….
Is to pay American workers less than what they are making in China or Mexico or even Vietnam…
I’m all for those people making a wage that they can live off of….
But for Trump to say he will bring back those low wage jobs from China and Mexico is total Bullshit….
But people seem to believe him (I cant believe how stupid Americans are)

        • Larry Schmitt July 17th, 2016 at 15:18

Just like his pandering claim in WV about coal. They never ask for details on how he will bring coal jobs back. I’d like to hear him sputter if someone did.

          • StoneyCurtisll July 17th, 2016 at 15:29

Right like Trump is going to make Nat-Gas more expensive than coal…Or place tariffs on foreign coal coming into the US?
And raise the cost of energy on everyone…

            • Larry Schmitt July 17th, 2016 at 15:32

But since the president doesn’t have the power to do that, it’s a moot point. He seems to think the presidency is like being Gandalf: wave your magic wand, and the orcs disappear in a blue flash.

  7. Larry Schmitt July 17th, 2016 at 15:02

Exactly what kind of “leadership” will prevent people bent on killing people, including police, from doing so? Isn’t that the logic the gun people use in arguing against gun control?

    • Tommie July 17th, 2016 at 15:07

Exactly, no matter who is in office things like this will happen and terrorism is included in this also!

    • anothertoothpick July 17th, 2016 at 16:04

Nothing short of Marshal law will satisfy this clown.

  8. bpollen July 17th, 2016 at 16:22

In some respects, he hit on an actual problem. There IS a lack of leadership. And he is the candidate for the party that is most responsible for that perceived lack of leadership. If you doubt that, look at the Republican platform.

He’s a man with no solutions, yet always able to tell you who to blame for your lot in life.
