Palin: Blood on media’s ‘complicit hands’ for lying about ‘Black Lives Matter’

Sarah Palin continues the right-wing trope of blaming the Black Lives Matter movement for the shooting of police officers.

“Shame on our culture’s influencers,” she wrote on Facebook, “who would stir contention and division that could lead to evil such as that in Dallas. Shame on politicians and pundits giving credence to thugs rioting against police officers and the rule of law in the name of ‘peaceful protests.’”

And then she accused the mainstream media of having blood on its hands:

Media: quit claiming the rioters are “peaceful” as they stomp on our flag, shout “death to cops!” and celebrate violence. It is sick. You perpetuate a perverted message evil men thrive on to intimidate and warp malleable minds that would believe one race matters more than another. Blood is on your complicit hands when you naively or purposefully refuse to tell of this movement’s truth.

    Let’s go for not 85% , not 95% but 100% of the black vote going Democratic in November.

    No matter what clueless outliers like Ben Carson might tell you, those you portray as “thugs” are our friends, our family, our neighbors, our children and the vast majority are in fact non-violent PEACEFUL protesters.

    Lying right wing hypocrites wet themselves when white militia thugs rail against government and make threats about second amendment solutions. But when a small percentage of blacks actually act out what you gutless right wing pigs only talk about, suddenly it is just oh so evil and awful.

    Look, this is the world that you right wingers advocate. When government fails to respond to the ballot, that is why there is a 2nd amendment.

    The blood is on your hypocritical hands for suggesting that violence is an acceptable method to redress greivances with the government. B*tch you built this.

    Is there any doubt that if the Bundy thug in the photo had squeezed that trigger, Palin and her ilk would be lamenting how unfortunate it is that decent Americans had no alternative left other than violence….

    Right wing wackjobs have been saying for years that they have the constitutional right and even a ‘patriotic’ duty to do exactly what this guy did. When all else fails, take up arms against the government, have a revolution, take back our country!!
    He was using a second amendment remedy just the way republicans have been saying they will use since before Sharon Angle.

      I’m horribly afraid that next time…..(gawd forbid)…
      The shooter is going to be a white dude and the death toll will be higher..
      And it wont be police he is aiming at…
      This long hot summer is just beginning….
      The cops are going to be more trigger itchy and afraid..
      The white sups and racist are going to use this as a rally cry for the race war they have been wanting for years…
      With the NRA promoting “more guns”..(gun sales are through the roof)..
      More and more people of color are arming themselves, and properly so…

      This unbridled arming of America is going to send us into as bloodbath, be it over race, politics or religion….
      The Inevitable death toll is going to be high…

      Imagine if Trump actually becomes President…(worse case scenario)
      you can crank up my dire prediction to 11..

    Palin cannot wrap her bigoted brain around the notion that a large group of black people were protesting peacefully before a single, unaffiliated, former military “lone wolf” began shooting at police officers.

    And of course, she still blames the news media for outing her as a person of limited intellect.

    I’m not a thug, and these aren’t riots, but elected officials at a local level need to take note. We’re pissed and we won’t be quiet, we aren’t going away and we demand change. Change must start at the local level, mandates from the federal government are too far removed from the citizen and law enforcement agencies push back defensively.

    Governors, mayors, city managers, need to insist that police departments make changes.
