Manning is doing 35 years in a military prison for doing less that General Petraeus did..
I would want to commit suicide myself for the injustice done to me.

      >> Manning is doing 35 years in a military prison for doing less than General Petraeus did

To be fair, Manning’s release was much broader in scope and impact.

But your point is a reasonable one — why the inexplicable disparity?

To me, an even greater injustice is that few (none?) of the war crimes revealed by Manning were prosecuted.

PS: Don’t watch this video is you are squeamish. It’s horrid.

Democracy Now is about the only media outlet I know still covering the Chelsea Manning case.

Her mistreatment in prison is harsh and maybe even violating her civil rights. She is a non-violent criminal. Her crime was a crime of conscience. She doesn’t deserve such a long sentence nor does she deserve solitary confinement.

This shows how severe Bradley Manning’s mental problems are. He needs psychiatric help, not a faux female body.

      Your concern is underwhelming.
