White House: Benghazi report is ‘in-kind contribution’ to RNC
White House Press Secretary Josh Earnest regards the Republican Benghazi report as a campaign gift for the party.
Click here for reuse options!“Is the RNC going to disclose the in-kind contribution that they received from House Republicans today?” Earnest said at his daily media briefing.
Earnest went on to note that House Republicans spent $7 million taxpayer dollars on their investigation, which he said was intended to “tear down Secretary Clinton’s poll numbers.”
Clinton herself responded to the report earlier in the day, saying it was “time to move on.” House Republicans determined in their report that President Obama’s administration acted too slowly in response to the attacks.

8 investigations later, millions of dollars poorer, we know nothing new. All we got were BS memes and right-wing conspiracy theories. I think the RNC should have to buy the voting-age populace of the US T-shirts that say, in big bold letters “We didn’t find nuttin’, honey!.”

Since the House Republicans wasted all those millions as part of a wildly partisan campaign, the RNC should be required to reimburse the taxpayers for every single penny.
