Conservatives gather to plot another Cruz presidential run
A private dinner took place to plot a path for Ted Cruz to lead the conservative movement moving forward.
Click here for reuse options! The dinner was at the Virginia home of conservative activist Brent Bozell, and the agenda was to plot Cruz’s future and the future of the conservative movement. The undertone of the dinner was about how to position Cruz for a future tilt at the presidency and to spearhead the conservative movement from his seat in the Senate, those in attendance said.
Dining with Cruz and his chief of staff, Paul Teller, were some of the most powerful figures in the conservative movement…
Many of the leaders at the dinner want Cruz to run for president again, and they are viewing Cruz’s unsuccessful 2016 run as similar to Reagan’s failed attempt in 1976 to unseat the incumbent Republican president, Gerald Ford.

Ted is a Koch brother from another mother, angling as their Donnie VP.

I believe rump’s choices are severely limited, it is between cruz or christie. No matter what, it will be a losing ticket. Are you enjoying this fight as much as I am Obewon?
Obewon June 16th, 2016 at 09:50
Yes! All they need to do is add a Palinbrawl on the convention floor for a coup de grĂ¢ce.

I would not want to be at the RNC convention, but I will happily watch it from my house. It is going to get messy.

The best thing the repukes need now is the last rites.

Given Cruz’s affiliation with religious leaders who preach American society must move in the direction of law from the holy book and execute gays, as well as other sinners, Cruz is an excellent choice. We really didn’t need any more proof of the party’s extremism, insanity, disorganization, and disconnect from reality; but there it is. http://www.rightwingwatch.org/content/ted-cruz-who-attended-event-calling-gays-be-put-death-delivers-characteristically-smug-respo

Ted’s Daddy must of had another vision or is hearing voices again.
Hirightnow June 16th, 2016 at 12:55
I’m sure that there are plenty of people out there who would rather not vote for Cruz than not vote for Trump.

Cruz’s time has come and gone … Liberals have won the contest of ideas.
This is the death of the conservative movement, there will be a couple spikes here and there, but the party is finished.
