End of road for Benghazi committee; $7 mil resulting in ‘nothing’

Posted by | June 4, 2016 12:03 | Filed under: News Behaving Badly Politics

Trey Gowdy has no victory lap to take.

If things had gone his way, Mr. Gowdy, a former federal prosecutor, would have found a way to torpedo Mrs. Clinton’s presidential ambitions. After all, Republican lawmakers have admitted that this is precisely what they set out to do.

But things have not gone well for Mr. Gowdy, who has run the investigation with the dexterity and grace of a blindfolded toddler swinging at a piñata. Having pored over reams of documents, grilled Mrs. Clinton in an 11-hour session in October and hauled in more than 100 people for interviews, the Republicans seem to have come up with nothing.

Whatever will Trey do with his life now? He’ll have to find a new obsession.

    • Mike June 4th, 2016 at 12:31

In TeaReality this is a win so my guess is that he should be able to turn this into a senate seat at least ( he’s still on the SCOTUS short list )

      • DogsRgoodpeople June 4th, 2016 at 12:59

        scary thoughts

        • Larry Schmitt June 4th, 2016 at 13:04

Definitely. Someone like Gowdy shouldn’t even be allowed inside the Supreme Court building.

    • Donkey Hodie June 4th, 2016 at 12:48

He will try to repeal Romneycare again!

  2. William June 4th, 2016 at 12:08

It’s not that Republicans have trouble questioning Hillary about Benghazi, they just have trouble with the answers.

    • Larry Schmitt June 4th, 2016 at 12:08

Some people just can’t accept “no.”

    • Suzanne McFly June 4th, 2016 at 16:28

Well rump says he knows more about ISIS than the Generals, so maybe republicans just believe they are the “all knowing” of everything.

Undoubtedly more truth to that then there should be.

  3. Buford2k11 June 4th, 2016 at 12:38

Trey Gowdy failed in his political mission…this was supposed to be HRC’s Waterloo, instead it became their “red herring” bordering on abuse of office…I cannot put what contempt and disdain I hold for the Republican Party, into polite enough words for this thread…

  4. OldLefty June 4th, 2016 at 12:43

This is why it matters who is in the majority.
Pelosi’s 2009-2010 House passed a much bigger stimulus bill (died in the Senate).
    Passed Lily Ledbetter
Passed The Health Care and Education Reconciliation Act of 2010 (which eliminates fees to private banks and expanded Pell grants with inflation).
Passed a healthcare bill with a public option (died in the Senate)
Passed “cramdown”( bailout for the “little” people….died in the Senate)
    Repealed DADT
    etc.

What did the GOP House do but endless stupid investigations and repeal the ACA 60 times?

    • Larry Schmitt June 4th, 2016 at 12:50

They named post offices and declared National Potato Month!

Hey, the potato deserves to be respected!!!!!!!!!!!! lol

      • Billy R June 4th, 2016 at 19:56

that’s just stupid. my statement of fact was far from crying.

          b.s.

        • Alison Cowan June 5th, 2016 at 01:15

Your denial of fact is not factual. The investigation was created for the sole purpose of destroying Hilary. If there had been ANY grounds for charges of ANY kind, charges would have been laid. $7 million and they couldn’t even give her a parking ticket. And you announce “that’s not true!” as if denouncing reality eradicates it.

Oops! Two many polysyllabic words! You don’t even understand what I’ve said, do you? I’ll rephrase: you don’t get to define reality. You are not god. You are also wrong. The Benghazi committee found no crimes. That is all.

          • whatthe46 June 5th, 2016 at 01:24

“That is all.” and that was great!

            10-4, Eleanor!

          • Billy R June 5th, 2016 at 19:02

It is intriguing how you gloss over “spoliation of evidence” (crime 1), You’re obviously unable to pay attention to the long list of crimes that have come forward since the Benghazi & email scandal. “Government policy, reiterated in the nondisclosure agreement signed by Clinton as part of gaining her security clearance, is that sensitive information can be considered as classified even if not marked as such.[394] After allegations were raised that some of the emails in question fell into the so-called “born classified” category, an FBI probe was initiated regarding how classified information was handled on the Clinton server. In May 2016, the inspector general of the state department criticized her use of a private email server while she was secretary of state stating that she had not requested permission to use it and even if she had, she would not have been given permission.” And that is just for starters. That’s all…

            • Alison Cowan June 6th, 2016 at 04:37

              Not one charge.
              Not one.

The GOP desperately want to be able to charge her.
They keep sending the FBI to find reasons to charge her.
The FBI is unable to find a reason to charge her.

The “long list of crimes” to which you refer are, IN FACT, a long list of accusations.

The GOP has been announcing that the FBI will pursue charges against Clinton for months.

              Not one charge.

              • Billy R June 6th, 2016 at 07:30

She gave testimony to the world on television in her case which was her biggest mistake. She claimed she handed over all her emails that weren’t personal. Then the Bloomenthal emails were discovered which proves she lies. That brings in the fact that Spoliation of evidence – 18 U.S. Code § 1519 – Destruction, alteration, or falsification of records in Federal investigations and bankruptcy. Current through Pub. L. 114-38. And then there’s THIS:
                http://nypost.com/2015/09/27/yes-hillary-clinton-broke-the-law/

                • Alison Cowan June 6th, 2016 at 10:58

Have you ever cleaned out your email? Because the concept that it was deliberate withholding needs to be proved, and compared to the much more likely case of incomplete reorganization, that’s a pretty stiff uphill climb.

                  Not even one charge.

Saturday your source was touting that the FBI were laying charges today.
                  For probably the fortieth time.

          • Billy R June 5th, 2016 at 18:43

How about showing PROOF that the investigation is over. IF you do, that would make YOUR statement TRUE??? Go ahead, I’ll wait! (Let the FACTUAL EVIDENCE be from the day the article was posted or before otherwise, it proves I’m right and this story is just rhetoric).

no, because having a private server wasn’t a crime. furthermore, if “if” was a fifth we’d all be drunk. if, if, if. considering it NEVER happened and there’s nothing else to complain about, you now retort to “if’s.”

                  • Billy R June 6th, 2016 at 05:27

LMAO @ U! You hang on one word in what is clearly a reputable story. Of course having a private server was a crime. That hag knew it was but she’s so use to getting a free pass and didn’t realize that the internet is open to the best hackers. She “claimed” she handed over all her emails that weren’t private and then, guess what, FBI finds the Bloomenthal emails that she didn’t turn over. She lied. Best part, FBI found those emails in Bloomenthals deposition when they looked at all his documents. He didn’t hand them over, he didn’t expect them to look at all his documents. Clearly you haven’t followed this with the veracity that I have or you would have known that. Additionally, they caught Hillary in lies in the senate hearing and busted her because they already had emails from dates she claimed she didn’t send/receive any. You’re making yourself look ridiculous by trying to be slick. Lastly, people have not been forthcoming and it’s already been exposed. Her whole circle refuses to cooperate after her insisting everyone would. Who refuses to answer questions in a Federal hearing after getting full judicial immunity? I’ll tell your stupid azz who, someone who’s been threatened and intimidated to the point that they fear for their lives. C. Mills uttered “I don’t recall” (Clinton get out of jail answer since the “Bill will do anyone but Hillary hearings”, and “I don’t know” (to questions that she should had known or she’s utterly incompetent and doesn’t deserve our tax dollars). You see, your mind is so empty that you’ll give the benefit of the doubt to a career criminal that’s lied her whole life for a few dollars and a little power. IF you THINK you’ve done something here, let me tell you. You’ve made yourself look like a room temperature IQ Clinton nut job. I hope you’re getting paid because otherwise, it was for what? To read that you’re a complete moron.

              • Billy R June 5th, 2016 at 19:58

I totally agree that Bush was corrupt and always believed he had prior knowledge of 9/11. He’s not running for POTUS! obama told America he’d look into 9/11 then defended Bush.

                • whatthe46 June 5th, 2016 at 20:30

Obama did what bushy refuse to do, go after bin laden. everything and anything else Obama attempted to do was interfered with by the repuking base. they intended and fail to make Obama a failure. going after Obama was a big mistake just as it’s a big mistake to continue going after Hillary over b.s. again, the repukes didn’t give a damn about what was going on and who was killed under bushy, but 4 guys and she’s the devil’s sister.

Donnie / Palin’16~ Grifter TrumpU frauds at trial now :)

                  • Billy R June 6th, 2016 at 05:09

No criminal intent? Why would you use a private server on your property when you work as Secretary of State and conduct top secret business, leave that business open to hackers, refuse to hand it over until 2 years later after you and your lawyers go over the intel? Every last email you send is considered classified. I don’t usually call names on message boards but you sir, are an idiot. You don’t own emails or intel when you work for our government. The fact that you give her the benefit of the doubt is telling. IF you have nothing to hide, you don’t do everything to hide it. There are videos of HER joking about why she doesn’t use email where she admits that people investigate what they have proof of. Why would a govt employee take so many steps to avoid FOIA? Why would you refuse to meet w/ the Atty. Gen. after telling the world, at a debate that you were looking forward to answering questions anytime anywhere? Why would you say that everyone in your employ will cooperate and then defend them refusing to answer questions after getting Federal Immunity from Prosecution? Yes, you sir are a complete and utter failure because you give this career criminal known liar the benefit of the doubt. You must be one dirty person with no integrity.

            • bpollen June 5th, 2016 at 23:12

That’s not the way this works. You don’t get to make proclamations sans evidence and then put the onus on others to disprove your specious claims. You make the claim, you provide the proof.

Unless you aren’t able to support your contentions? You say the story is a lie. No evidence to support it. You claim she is stonewalling. You present no evidence. You say that they refuse to cooperate. You show no corroboration. You say she will either testify or refuse. She HAS testified. For 11 hours. Gowdy Doody (and you) found no smoking guns in her testimony.

You state the story is a lie, that there is a lot to be uncovered. Either you can back up the checks your mouth is writing, or you can’t. I don’t have to prove you wrong. It’s on you to prove you’re not talking out of your nether regions since YOU are making the claims. I understand you are trying to project the responsibility to prove you’re full of shit onto me, but the fact is that you have prove that you are NOT.

You called the author a liar. Either you can prove it, or YOU are the liar. Since you CANNOT prove what you claim, I won’t wait for you to fail. You either put up, shut up, or indulge in the empty rhetoric you have presented so far (while hilariously trying to berate others for their rhetoric – in a stunning lack of self-awareness.)

            • William June 6th, 2016 at 06:51

“How about showing PROOF that the investigation is over”
How about showing proof that there is any evidence to indicate secretary Clinton or the White House has any culpability in the Benghazi incident, because so far NINE investigations and nearly 20 million dollars (which included a Gowdy and his gang junket to Europe…Europe? yeah I know wrong f*cking continent) has revealed nothing, nadda zip, and zero. The single most extensive investigation in our history. Good thing you idiots aren’t cops, you’d spend the next decade trying to hang the JFK assassination on Raphael Cruz…. Oh wait…it looks like your candidate for presidency actually suggested that…LOL, and you have the audacity to wonder why your party is dead and a carnival clown is your presidential candidate.

    • Comicus June 4th, 2016 at 17:07

Gowdy failed in his quixotic quest to find some crime in order to punish HRC. He wasted millions of dollars that could have been used to help those troops you claim to support. Those are the facts. You have a right to your personal opinion but we all share the same reality.

      • Billy R June 4th, 2016 at 19:56

Your facts are rhetoric. This story is a lie. The investigation is ongoing because Hillary is stonewalling it.

        • Obewon June 4th, 2016 at 20:40

No laws were broken by HRC. Unlike TumpU frauds at Federal trial in California. Another Billy-D’oh!

        • bpollen June 5th, 2016 at 01:46

Says the guy who presents nothing but rhetoric. Somewhat disingenuous to decry others doing EXACTLY what you are doing, eh? I see no evidence, no facts, no corroboration in your specious proclamations of “stonewalling.” Nor anything that in any respect supports the “story is a lie” vacuous assertion.

          • Billy R June 5th, 2016 at 18:45

As stated: How about showing PROOF that the investigation is over. IF you do, that would make YOUR statement TRUE??? Go ahead, I’ll wait! (Let the FACTUAL EVIDENCE be from the day the article was posted or before otherwise, it proves I’m right and this story is just rhetoric).

            • bpollen June 5th, 2016 at 23:18

As stated, you have to prove your position. You made the initial claim (the story is a lie.) Unless or until you can show your claims to be true, then it stands as an unsubstantiated claim. With no evidence to support it, I can discount it out of hand.

If you can show the article to be a lie, do so. But I don’t have any obligation to prove your unsubstantiated claims to be wrong. Just like I don’t have to disprove Alex Jones’ contention that we are ruled by the Lizard People. And Alex has presented JUST as much evidence for the Lizards as you have for your claim.

              • Billy R June 6th, 2016 at 05:55

I’ve already proven the article is a lie, so you’re whole rhetoric is based on THIS: 1. Are the hearings over? 2. Are you SURE there’s nothing there? Moron; She gave testimony to the WORLD and said she and her people would cooperate and the they didn’t.

                • bpollen June 6th, 2016 at 06:06

You have done nothing of the sort. You’ve flapped your gums, tried to make other people DISPROVE your unfounded proclamations, and generally shown the lack of substance behind y our posts. That’s it.

Now, why not go and try to convince somebody else that you have a leg to stand on. You’ve utterly failed here.

If you have proven it, show me the facts you have posted, the links, the sources, something besides your complete lack of supporting evidence. Manage to show facts to support your Joe Wilson “you lie!” impersonation and you will be worth replying to. But you won’t… because you can’t. There is no “there” there. So you will just prove yourself to be a vapid fool with a full checkbook and not enough ass to cash them.

        • Comicus June 5th, 2016 at 11:15

There’s be a dozen of these so-called ‘investigations’. Gowdy;s is the latest and hopefully the last. Tens of millions of dollars for nothing. That’s reality, boy. Accept it.

          • Billy R June 5th, 2016 at 18:39

IF Clinton witnesses weren’t stonewalling the investigations and uttering “I don’t recall” (Clinton’s favorite response instead of pleading the 5th) or “I don’t know” (about things they SHOULD know about, otherwise they’re grossly incompetent in their positions) billions of tax dollars would not be wasted. We need to put the blame at the feet where it belongs.

    • bpollen June 5th, 2016 at 01:43

No, that’s the Committee. The premise of the article is that the committee has accomplished bupkes. That IS fact. Rumor, innuendo, selective leaking, and constant repetition of bogus accusations are NOT, and that is what we have gotten from Gowdy Doody. He searched for the smoking gun against Clinton, but it was in his hand the entire time – because he had a conclusion BEFORE the investigation.

What did we learn from the investigation? That it was a sham from day one.

      • Billy R June 5th, 2016 at 18:52

Does this help you UNDERSTAND? We have learned that emails came forward that Hillary claimed didn’t exist and we KNOW Hillary claimed she and her team would cooperate, then they refuse to cooperate. The statement by the writer that the investigation is over is a lie. There is more to come in the investigation. She will either testify or she will refuse showing us she would rather avoid consequence for her actions than being a stand up politician and answering questions about her (and her staffs actions).

You’re going by internet sites and overlooking the fact that Hillary gave testimony to the world on television in several aspects of this case. Then after proclaiming that she would meet with anyone any time, anywhere and answer questions, she refused AND her staff refused to answer questions. You don’t get to try your case in the media and then make them prove their case in a hearing. That’s not how it works. Your little links are as ridiculous as you are. IF you’re accused, you either speak or you don’t. She’ll fall on this by the cover up and her ego. IF I were her lawyer, I would had made her understand that you don’t speak of it. She did, she gave the WORLD testimony (some has already been proven lies) Bloomenthal emails came out that she didn’t hand over. I could go on, but IF you have a brain you get the fact that she told the world one thing and did another. The only way to win a case is to force prosecution to prove their case and any idiot w/ a GED knows you don’t give testimony to the world on TV and then clam up in the hearings.

            • Obewon June 6th, 2016 at 09:32

Actually “Pulitzer Prize Winner” sources e.g. Non partisan Pulitzer Prize winning PoliitiFact, WaPo, NYT, LA Times, CBS, et al. You remain unanimously debunked.

When the investigation formally concludes, we will be waiting here for your response.

Do you think they will have inter-net service in the Cave that he will be hiding in ?

        • bpollen June 5th, 2016 at 23:27

I UNDERSTAND that you are making claims and presenting zero evidence to support it. Any schlemiel can claim any stupid-ass thing imaginable. If it’s true, if it’s factual, they should be able to point to evidence to show it to be so. Any evidence from ol’ Billy R? Nope – none, zero, nada, bupkes, zilch, goose eggs, big fat nothing…

Make a claim and demand others disprove it? I bet you had a real hard time with math and science in school… “2+2=5… prove me wrong!”

          • Billy R June 6th, 2016 at 07:07

LMAO; You spent a lot of time putting rhetoric in your post. Did you NOT hear Hillary give testimony to the world that “no emails were classified”, “I handed over all my emails to the committee”, & “this is simply a security review”? She gave testimony to the world and then refused to meet with the Attorney General. They’ve already found the Bloomenthal emails that are more than classified after she claimed she turned over all her emails that weren’t personal. They’ve already shown that she was briefed on protocol, which she tried to rebuff. “BIG FAT NOTHING”? IF she didn’t speak out to the world and proclaim her innocence, it would be a whole different situation. Really, don’t make yourself look juvenile by typing 386 characters so I can just make you look worse bpollen!

            • bpollen June 6th, 2016 at 15:18

“Oh, I’m sorry, you have failed to ‘Prove You Aren’t Talking Out Of Your Ass.’ Why don’t you tell him about our lovely parting gifts, Johnny?”

“We’re not giving Little Billy a damn thing, Pat, including a trip to beautiful Puerto Vallarta and a crappy home version of our game. Back to you, Pat.”

“Stay tuned next week when we ask another troll to ‘Prove You Aren’t Talking Out Of Your Ass.’ Wave goodbye and smile, Vanna!”

You do make an Outstanding example of a Republican.

        • boB June 6th, 2016 at 12:27

Do you understand that the email server and Benghazi are two completely different topics? The fact that yet another Benghazi investigation has turned up absolutely nothing means that it is quite likely there is nothing to turn up concerning Benghazi.

The emails are a completely different story and this has absolutely nothing to do with them. Whether or not HRC broke rules with the server or not has NOTHING IN THE WORLD to do with Benghazi.

          DO YOU UNDERSTAND YET????????

    • Alison Cowan June 25th, 2016 at 19:21

      Still. Waiting.

    • Alison Cowan June 28th, 2016 at 16:17

So it looks like I’m going to have to wait until after the NEXT Benghazi investigation, since this one, despite the GOP spin that “it’s the administration’s fault” not only couldn’t blame Clinton directly, or solely, it absolutely couldn’t lay any charges.

And they tried soooooooooooooooo hard. Maybe another 7 million will make it happen, hey?

You know the saying “blowing smoke?” You know what it means? Since obviously you don’t, what it means is “creating an untrue impression by making unfounded accusations until people start believing that “where there’s smoke there’s fire” and so there must be fire because there’s so goddamn much smoke.” Paraphrased, of course. The GOP has been blowing smoke for so long that all ye faithful billionaire wannabes think that there MUST be fire in there somewhere; but just like the tax structure that you favor because you think you’re going to be rich someday, reality just isn’t on your side.

Obama Appointed-Judge To Hear Benghazi Lawsuit Against Trey Gowdy [for the Republican-Manufactured Benghazi “Scandal” Against Democrat Hillary Clinton] (11/24/15)

A federal judge appointed by President Barack Obama will oversee the new lawsuit against the House Benghazi Committee and its chairman, Rep. Trey Gowdy. ►The judge, Randolph Moss, was assigned the case Tuesday, a day after former Benghazi investigator sued the committee for discrimination and personally sued Gowdy for defamation. He has served on the federal district court for a year, since the Senate confirmed him by a vote of 54 to 45 last November.

Right-Wing [Fox News] Media ‘Expert’ Who Pushed For Benghazi Investigation Pleads GUILTY To FRAUD (4/29/16)

Simmons was also a member of Accuracy in Media’s “Citizens’ Commission” on Benghazi — which was part of the conservative media’s ultimately successful push to get the House Republicans to set up a panel to investigate Benghazi. During this time, Simmons often accused Obama of having decided “to not rescue our former CIA operatives and our military” in Libya. ►And on April 29, those charges came home to roost: Simmons, for his role in the Benghazi push, pleaded guilty to federal fraud charges. In the press release, the
DOJ noted that Simmons “falsely claimed he spent 27 years working for the Central Intelligence Agency.” It added that he had pleaded guilty to major fraud against the government, a firearms offense, and wire fraud, all of them serious charges.

So, the “YUGE” Benghazi Investigate is coming to as worthless of an end as it was at the Beginning. With All of the Hype the Republicans could throw at it, it has come down to the Truth, and that being nothing but a Total, Costly, Failure. Thank You Republicans for showing US who are the Retardiacns in OUR Congress. Well, Pack up all of the leftover High Priced Party Wine and head back to your Cowardly little Holes.

    • Jaguar67 June 6th, 2016 at 06:57

Imagine if the Dems spent this money during the Cheney administration to investigate the warnings ignored the weeks before 9/11, the mythical Saddam/9/11 connection and the WMD…

      • The Original Just Me June 6th, 2016 at 08:10

    Maybe,
just maybe the 700 Billion for those “shovel ready jobs” that werent so
“shovel ready” or the 6 billion Dollars Hillary lost while at the
state dept can pick up the difference.

    • bugman40 June 5th, 2016 at 10:36

hey dumbass….unless congress allows the money for those jobs we cant get them…they keep blocking a jobs bill.

Hey dumbass… Vote out incumbents then they won’t keep doing this…

    • Stan Ubeki June 5th, 2016 at 13:12

The $700B was budgeted over several years. No one ever said they were all shovel ready jobs on day one. Ever notice how much road repair and bridge work is being done? Damn Obama! You’re the first person I’ve ever heard claim that Hillary lost $6B. Maybe she paid the staff, lobbed a few drones, armed a few good rebels, prevented another 9-11.

      • Billy R June 6th, 2016 at 06:30

State Dept. misplaced $6B under Hillary Clinton: IG report – http://www.washingtontimes.com/news/2014/apr/4/state-dept-misplaced-6b-under-hillary-clinton-ig-r/?page=all – He’s right, you’re wrong. Why reply to message boards only to make yourself looks stupid. This is not even new news. I’ll bet you don’t even read the article and reply with some b/s. Really, don’t waste your time because i’ll only make you look even less educated. *Hillary was the head of the State Department, this was her job and you can’t blame it on anyone else.

        • lvginclp June 8th, 2016 at 02:06

Post from a credible source and then maybe, just maybe, we will read it.

        • whatthe46 June 8th, 2016 at 02:42

wrong. but, i will tell you what is right. the fk’d up ass bushy admin sent thousands of our military, men, women, mothers, fathers, sisters, brothers, aunts, uncles and loved ones to be slaughtered over a lie. they also managed to murder 100’s of thousands of innocent, men, women and children over that same lie. if i’m not mistaken, he was the (gasp) president that committed an unspeakable crime. it was his job to safe guard this country, and yet, he refused to believe intel that we were going to be attacked on 9/11. he also said there was no longer a reason for going after bin laden. he was in charge of that as well. but, i’m sure you’re going to find a way to blame Obama and Hillary for that b.s. as well. typical.

    • Obewon June 5th, 2016 at 19:22

Diversion because you lost. As of 2016, 15 M+ Private Obama Jobs created, ‘2/3 via the Dems $100 B/yr Five year private Jobs Stimulus’-CBO Vs Q4-08 $12.7 T GDP shrinking -9% APR losing 800,000 jobs per Month! 1/3 of the Dems stimulus delivered ‘the largest middle-class tax cuts in U.S. History!’ Reproving repubs just aren’t credible.

      2015 U.S. record $18 T GDP growing +3% APR = +$5 T GDP!

      • Billy R June 6th, 2016 at 06:24

Idiot, obama hasn’t created one job. In fact, free market creates jobs. The new job growth is people that finally entered the job market after running out of unemployment. The new jobs are mostly part time jobs with no benefits. Quit thinking your smart. You’re a moron.

        • Jaguar67 June 6th, 2016 at 06:54

Try to stay on topic. The story is about the Benghazi Witch Hunt. Not Obama or the free market.

          • whatthe46 June 8th, 2016 at 02:45

hell, what would they have to discuss if they couldn’t invoke Obama. not a GD thing.

    • Jim Kennedy June 5th, 2016 at 22:09

Nope. The criminal Bush Administration cost us $7 trillion, several thousand Americans and 1 million plus innocent Iraqi citizens in a search for WOMD they knew never existed. And no multimillion dollst Iraqi mail server Congressional investigation on the several hundred thousand missing emails from their server that probably would have sent them all to prison. Your treasonous Republican officials still have a lot to atone for. Down right criminals. The entire world would be better off without you.

    • lvginclp June 8th, 2016 at 02:03

How bout that 3 TRILLION dollar invasion of Iraq there, eh? Or how about that Medicaid Part D? Deregulating Wall Street and allowing them to carry out the biggest theft in the history of people? Each of those trumps 6 billion by a mile and all together well, it’s just obscene how much they spent and stole! Also, you’re not cool enough for a Dude avatar. Give it up.

  11. Tim Coolio June 5th, 2016 at 10:32

The GOP owes us that money and the money lost on their failed government shutdown stunt.

  12. Ed June 5th, 2016 at 20:50

We should disband the GOP and arrest all the leaders and officers on charges of treason and theft of the treasury.

  13. Billy R June 6th, 2016 at 05:48

I’ve already proven the article is a lie, so you’re whole rhetoric is based on THIS: 1. Are the hearings over? 2. Are you SURE there’s nothing there? 3. Why are people w/ “Judicial immunity not answering questions after Mrs. Clinton said everyone will fully cooperate with the investigation? A) I fully agree that it is the investigators jobs to prove their case. There’s a different scenario here and you’re overlooking it. Hillary has lied on camera about every aspect. Normally; when you’re accused of a crime you don’t provide testimony for the world to hear and then refuse to testify in the hearing. (Here’s where your message makes me get dirty. Normally I don’t attack peoples character but you opened the door so here goes) You’re an idiot, the kind of idiot that speaks out and then wants some type of protection after you spoke your peace. That’s exactly what Hillary and her accomplices did. IF you’re accused, you don’t make proclamations in the media trying your case and then clam up at a hearing. Hillary’s lawyers likely told her “Do not answer questions”. She is an ego-maniac that has gotten away with her long list of crimes because lawyers dropped the ball every time. The smartest thing any criminal can do is plead the fifth and force the prosecution to prove their case. I’m sure you’ve heard, Hillary will get busted by the cover up, not so much the crime. IF you were as smart as me, you’d know this. Who is self aware NOW?

    • bpollen June 6th, 2016 at 05:58

I’ve already proven the article is a lie

Not in this universe. Baseless accusations? Those you have in abundance. Proof? Not a lick. Not one link, source, study, charge, or anything else.

You’ve proven you are an empty suit with NOTHING.

      • Billy R June 6th, 2016 at 07:47

Freak, the investigation is NOT over! Why type so much b/s when you know the investigations not over?

    • Alison Cowan June 6th, 2016 at 21:17

Not you. You’re still demanding that others prove you wrong while providing zero foundation for your claims.

Me, I’m still waiting for the charges….

  14. The Original Just Me June 6th, 2016 at 09:05

NOTHING, Yup, That’s the Republican Party now Days. It is Sad, there used to be some Honor in being a Republican. I can remember back in the Pre-Tea Party days.

  15. Stephen Beard June 6th, 2016 at 19:48

How do you spell “less than nothing”? Benghazi.

  16. Patricio Da Silva August 23rd, 2016 at 03:21

It’s called selective outrage, as Bush admin had 13 embassy attacks, and 60 deaths, on his watch, but no peep out of republicans then.

    • whatthe46 August 23rd, 2016 at 03:34
