Bernie Sanders’ campaign is running low on cash as it enters the closing stretch of the Democratic presidential primaries. Sanders, who routinely speaks of his support from small donors, finished April with $5.8 million on hand, the Los Angeles Times reports. He raised $26.9 million last month but spent $38.6 million as he continues to battle…

Since no debate is scheduled until Pennsylvania just ride it out Bernie. Even if you get sent back to the Senate? Your going to have more friends across the country then you did a year ago, and who knows Maybe more cooperation changing the F***ed up legislation we now have

His money isn’t drying up. If you give $27 to him, he gives two other democratic candidates parts of the donation. He is trying to help out his fellow democrats and stories like this one are dismissing the good he is doing. We will win more races because of him, you should be thanking him.

I was thinking the same thing.
That maybe April was lower for a couple of reasons… one of them being his emails for splitting donations between him and other downticket Dems.
(Another being April 15th and how a lot of people run really tight in that month.)

I’d be interested to see if his numbers come back up for May, but I wouldn’t be surprised if a lot of those resources are still being split.
I know I’m personally still giving to Bernie, but not as much because I’m also giving to Canova, Teachout, Flores, and Jayapal… to name a few.

I won’t stop giving either, and the fact he is still helping others proves he wants the democrats to win big in November. He has been great for the party and he continues to be in my eyes.

He has done a lot of Good for many Democrats as well as the Party. But, if he is concerned, he should consider an alternate coarse of action possibly. He can still be a large asset to the Party as a whole without being the Candidate but it is his choice.

He still wants her a little more to the left to ensure her support on issues.

Left Right, Left Right, sounds like marching troops instead of politics. :+)

There are ten Primaries left. They all happen in the next 16 days. That is a lot of Campaigning to be done in ten widely spread States and California alone is YUGE . I just don’t believe Bernie has handled his finances wisely. Would he handle the National budget in the same manner ?

Off topic a bit, but I think I see a potential revenue stream to help fund welfare and other social safety net programs. We should pass a tax on political campaign revenues. Simply treat the donations as income and tax it at regular income tax rates. Just look at the amount of revenue we could get from just the Presidential primaries. 39.6% of $207 million would go a long ways at that would just be Bernie’s contribution.
