Now it’s someone’s trophy.

The eventual top bidder was a user named John Smith, whose successful offer was made in the auction’s final minute. No further details were listed for him on the website other than that he claimed to be based in Alabama.

For most of the final morning of the two-day auction the top bidder was a user named David Thorne, whose profile featured a photograph of a man in full military combat fatigue and helmet clutching an automatic rifle.

If I were bidding on such an object, I’d use the name “John Smith,” too.

    so, if this ‘prized possession’ is stolen and winds up in the hands of an innocent black child in Florida, can they legally shoot and kill the original owner if he’s caught standing on a concrete sidewalk?

        and Zimmerman should be in prison because of that and it was not his job to shot Trayvon. There was probably no attack and there are others who have less evidence against them and get imprisoned like Green Beret Murderer Jeff McDonald in 1979 (not saying he was innocent but there was less incriminating evidence).

    Internet trolls posting under the names Tamir Rice and Racist McShootface are attempting to thwart George Zimmerman’s efforts to sell the Kel-Tec 9mm pistol he used to kill Trayvon Martin in 2012.

    Bids as high as $65 million have been placed on the United Gun Group auction site since the item went live Thursday with an opening bid of $5,000..

    reported that United Gun Group twice suspended the auction, but as of 2 p.m. Friday bids were actively being accepted.
