GOP’s King: ‘I’ll take cyanide if [Cruz gets] the nomination’

Posted by | April 19, 2016 10:48 | Filed under: Politics

Republican Congressman Peter King says he’ll take cyanide if Ted Cruz is his party’s nominee.

Host Joe Scarborough began the interview by jokingly calling King “Nassau County’s chairman for Ted Cruz for President,” a reference to the longstanding bad blood between the two lawmakers.

“First of all, in case anybody gets confused, I’m not endorsing Ted Cruz. I hate Ted Cruz, and I think I’ll take cyanide if he got the nomination,” King said to laughter.

It’s quite understandable why you would Cruzify yourself if Cruzifer is getting nominaTed, Peter King.

But we need insiders like you who hate him so much to poison him instead whether he wins or loses.

King is not on my favorite guy list, but still, I’d hate to have him die under those conditions.

Just another Republican promise; no way it’s ever going to come about, and no intention of following through with it.

Yeah, Yeah, and Limbaugh was supposed to move if Obamacare was passed, and Nugent was supposed to be dead or in jail…How about keeping some of the realistic promises first.

I never wanted cruz to win in my life, but I want him to win this nomination with all the hope in the world.

I was watching MSNBC and one republican supporter who was working at the voting precinct was gushing about how many voters want to switch parties, she just couldn’t believe how “so many democrats want to be republicans right now, but they can’t now, its too late”. She went on to say how wonderful it is that rump is growing the party. The reporter and commentator had to take a moment, they had to be laughing, so when the commentator came back on screen he said “well I am sure all of New York City is not going to change the party affiliation to become republicans”, but you couldn’t tell this lady that. I think a lot of democrats wanted to vote for rump so there is a good chance for a sweep in November, but this lady had no clue, rump loves the uneducated.
