There’s nothing to say about this would be president defending torture repeatedly. It’s too unacceptable to even comment.

  3. pugwis March 22nd, 2016 at 20:59

You never get reliable info from Torture.
      You CAN get false confessions.

    • granpa.usthai March 23rd, 2016 at 00:25

I’ve been saying for the longest time that Cliven Bundy and his WHITE RACIST TERRORIST gang (GREATEST THREAT to US Security) should be rendered to PDRK for local intensified interrogations so as to plug the holes that are allowing them to acquire STOLEN US MILITARY WEAPONS…

    • burqa March 23rd, 2016 at 00:33

Humane approaches have always yielded far superior results in interrogation.
The most successful interrogators in history all employed humane approaches.
Notice that no one in the pro-torture crowd cites even one expert on the subject – credentialed, professional interrogators. I have found comments by over 60 of these experts on this topic and every single one of them oppose torture and abuse of prisoners because it in immoral, is contrary to the principles set forth by our Founding Fathers and is ineffective.
Since you favor methods that work poorly over those that reap great success, one wonders whose side you are on, anyway….

Cute hat, by the way. Are you familiar with what our Founding Fathers had to say on the topic back when tricorner hats were in vogue?

Are people really serious about voting for this madman? They really want to turn America into a police state? Barbed wire and concrete walls, guards ready to shoot to kill, whole neighborhoods under martial law lockdowns? What the hell is the matter with these people?

As liberals, progressives, democrats, we HAVE to find a way to get people to vote more than ever before or they WILL destroy our country and everything we have ever worked for.

  5. Mike March 22nd, 2016 at 21:33

    Patton, MacArthur, Pershing…??? LMAO…is he serious…?

    • whatthe46 March 22nd, 2016 at 22:37

      yes. he is.

    • burqa March 23rd, 2016 at 00:12

      He cited MacArthur?
In the course of my research on the topic, I came across the following quote by MacArthur in reference to the war crimes trials that led to the execution of Japanese generals Homma and Yamashita,

“Homma, he said, had violated ”a fundamental code of chivalry, which has ruled all honorable military men throughout the ages in treatment of defeated opponents.” Expatiating at great length on the Yamashita verdict, he wrote, ”Rarely has so cruel and wanton a record been spread to public gaze … The soldier, be he friend or foe, is charged with the protection of the weak and unarmed. It is the very essence and reason for his being. When he violates his sacred trust, he not only profanes his entire cult but threatens the very fabric of international society … This officer, of proven field merit, entrusted with high command involving authority adequate to responsibility, has failed this irrevocable standard; has failed his duty to his troops, to his country, to his enemy, to mankind; has failed utterly his soldier faith. The transgressions resulting therefrom as revealed by the trial are a blot, . . . a stain upon civilization and constitute a memory of shame and dishonor that can never be forgotten.”

Someone please take him out of our misery? Please?

  7. bpollen March 22nd, 2016 at 21:54

So, his rationale is that the enemy’s behavior that he finds so reprehensible is just what WE should be doing! It’s only bad if the other guy does it. And we can do even more – we can slaughter spouses and children of the enemy intentionally even if they are innocent.

You’d think Vlad Tepes was a role model for the Orangutan GOP front runner.

    • whatthe46 March 22nd, 2016 at 22:33

great minds bpollen. so was gonna make a comment along those lines. “they chop of head.” lets be worse and torture them first in every imaginable “SAW” way. fk’n idiots.

      • bpollen March 23rd, 2016 at 17:43

If you embrace what you despise in your enemy, you don’t defeat them, you BECOME them.

  8. granpa.usthai March 22nd, 2016 at 23:47

I’m sure if any potential “terrorist” is reading this, they are absolutely astounded that wannabe chief sore foot has become the biggest brave in the village and will either mark out their return address or laugh til they drop.

if all else fails -including torture (explicitly forbidden by US Constitution, Geneva Convention Treaty SIGNED by USA and UCMJ) maybe the donald could nugent himself in ‘patriotism’ and sit next to the accused until they broke?

    • burqa March 23rd, 2016 at 00:03

The UN Torture Convention was signed by none other than Ronald “Dutch” Reagan

    • fahvel March 23rd, 2016 at 05:01

do you remember a brill cream add with some repetitive stuff that drove a character crazy – just imagine someone locked in a room with that red puff ball face on the wall all day and night – they’d talk!

  9. burqa March 22nd, 2016 at 23:53

Wrong, according to the experts on the subject – professional career interrogators.
For example, here’s U.S. Army interrogator Anthony Lagournis:
“I spoke to Joe Navarro, a retired FBI agent and an expert in the field of interrogation. Joe has had great success in gathering intelligence during interrogations and interviews without the use of torture. He outlined four main reasons why torture is ineffective. First, talk can’t be confused with truth. A torture victim will say anything, true or false, to get the pain to stop. Second, the stress pain creates confuses the subject and he simply can’t remember details well enough to produce good intelligence. Third, the torture subject may die or go into shock, in which case no information can be obtained from him. Finally, and perhaps most compelling, the torture victim, if he tells the interrogator anything at all, is likely to give one piece of information, or very little information, whereas a cooperative subject will talk and continue talking. Joe added that he believes that torture strengthens the resolve of the detainee, citing Senator John McCain, who, after having his shoulder torn from its socket by interrogators in Vietnam, was more determined than ever to keep his silence.””

I am getting a salary of 6530 dollars each week. Over a year ago I was in a horrible condition , jobless and no bank credit ..eu Thanks to one of my friends who showed me a way where I was able to gather myself and making average of 56 d/h. So it can change your life as it has changed mine. Why not try this.
