“Power tends to corrupt, and absolute power corrupts absolutely.”
Republican Governor, Lt. Governor, Attorney General, State Legislator, Treasurer, and a bought-and-paid-for State Supreme Court.

It’s a gross abuse of power, but I’m not surprised either.

I’m more surprised by seeing names in the Retort comments section that I recognize from several years ago! :)

Not so bright Breitbart actually posted this? Amazing in and of itself.

Hillary should choose him as a running mate.”

That’ll work….I remember when you had to be cunning and sly to be a greasy slimy politician….nowadays, simply legislating corruption seems to be the latest fad…
Not bad for a high school kid…

Republicans are always making crime legal, several of them have made child labor legal again and tried to make murder legal. The corrupt Supreme Court republicans made bribery legal.

There should be a law against making crime legal, anyone even trying to do it should be put in jail.

Maybe a federal prosecutor could start a investigation using RICO, just what the GOP would like in an election year

This is just Walker being fiscally responsible.
Why waste money paying people to investigate Walker when he can do it himself?

the LYING THIEVING ‘christian’ governor of NC will probably be the next one to prohibit investigations into the governor’s realm.

He does not have the authority to impede a legal investigation. But this sort of interference is why high level state officials are generally investigated by FEDERAL law enforcement agencies!

My thought exactly — it’s time for the Feds to take over.
