Obama To Honor Shooting Victims At SOTU With Open Seat

President Obama will have a vacant seat at the State of the Union address to remember those who have been shot.

Obama told supporters Friday that the gesture is meant to send a message of Congress that they must act to make it harder for guns to fall into the wrong hands.

“We want them to be seen and understood; that their absence means something to this country,” he said on a conference call with Organizing for Action.

“We want to tell their stories, we want to honor their memory and we want to support Americans whose lives have been forever changed by gun violence and remind every single one of our representatives that it’s their responsibility to do something.”

The announcement is another indication the contentious debate over gun control will play a major role in the president’s final State of the Union.

            I thought it was something like that, but it didn’t look like the typical pitch. I couldn’t figure out her angle. A couple of years ago she posted on some Arab language sites, so she got around.

                  I’ve seen people on another site that won’t be named{coughmediamatterscough} that actually admitted to paying for the service that swapped your IPA for another one…all in the name of trolling.
                  I finally figured, if it’s worth it you to be paying a fee for being a jerk, go nuts; nobody pays you much mind anyway.

        Pretty pathetic when you think about the fact that embryos have never sat in a chair but all the children and adults that have died certainly have. If he does do that, he is disrespecting the lives of those people and the idea being put forth by this President.
