Bridgeghazi Cost NJ $8M In Legal Fees

Posted by | December 13, 2015 16:00 | Filed under: News Behaving Badly Politics

This won’t be good for Chris Christie’s presidential ambitions.

The law firm Gibson Dunn has billed New Jersey roughly $8 million since it was hired to defend Gov. Chris Christie (R) for the “Bridgegate” scandal, according to the Associated Press…

The governor has denied having any knowledge of the decision to close lanes on the bridge, which connects New Jersey and New York.

Critics have alleged Christie used the closures to punish the Democratic mayor of Fort Lee, N.J., for not endorsing him in the 2013 gubernatorial election.

Gibson Dunn issued a 350-page report in 2014 exonerating Christie of any wrongdoing in the scandal.

This is what Christie means by fiscal conservative.

And he keeps lying about having anything to do with it.

THe Governor of New Jersey hired lawyers to investigate himself and find himself innocent of all wrong doing.
    What’s the problem?

    • Larry Schmitt December 13th, 2015 at 16:43

      No conflict of interest there.

      It’s all about priorities.

I wonder if this might come up in the GOP debates. Christie is going to be on the stage with the big boys this time. Good time to pick on the bully a little.

    Thanks, Governor Christie.

And this rational report cost will be eclipsed by the irrational Benghazi report cost.

I noticed the lawyers are not complaining

Even if he didn’t know, are we supposed to be impressed with his ability to hire a staff or know what going on under his nose?

It is no fun hanging out with vindictivepeople, who are forever out to get back at people they think have hurt them. If you forget to say hello to them one day in the hall, they will carry a grudge against you into next week.

Christy is not fit to govern in any shape or form.

So Gibson Dunn exonerated Christie of any wrongdoing in the scandal. LOL! That’s like Donald Rumsfeld exonerating Dubya and the Dickster for the Iraq war.
