The hawks on the right love to claim that the invasion of Iraq during the George W. Bush Administration was a good thing for Iraq, the United States, and the long-term security of the Middle East, even though it has been proven time and time again to be a bigger myth than unicorns.

General Flynn told a German newspaper:

We were too dumb. We didn’t understand who we had there at that moment. When 9/11 occurred, all the emotions took over, and our response was, ‘Where did those bastards come from? Let’s go kill them. Let’s go get them.’ Instead of asking why they attacked us, we asked where they came from. Then we strategically marched in the wrong direction….READ MORE at LiberalAmerica

Umm, no sh*t, Sherlock. Everyone knows this.
I do have to make one point though. The Bush administration may have been dumb as to who the players were in the Middle East, but it really does not matter. Top Republicans had wanted to invade Iraq for years prior to 9/11. They simply needed a way to make the American people lose their collective minds and not be able to see what was really happening.

People in the know have always said that Shrub made it clear that he was going to go there and wanted an excuse…ordered one to be created, in fact

Never forget, that if the Bush (R) were not in the Oval Office, 9/11 would never have happened! Never forget, that the last two (2) Stock Market Crashes happened when the republicans were in the Oval Office, and both republicans were named…BUSH!

Duh! Everyone knows that! Lots of international newspapers even say that, so the whole world blames Bush.

  10. Bunya November 30th, 2015 at 14:06

Oh hogwash! Everyone knows that ISIS exists because there’s a black guy in the White House. The blame for everything/anything automatically transfers to the black democrat as soon as he takes office. That’s the GOP rule.

i agree that Iraq is a totally different thing than what is happening in Syria….Iraq was functioning in it’s dysfunction…we should have left it alone….Syria came a part on it’s own…it’s a human right’s disaster…now “we” ….the coalition of nations….need to step in …it’s affecting the whole globe….I don’t think any head of state anywhere in the world should ever think that they have absolute rights to create human catastrophe and not have consequences…not be removed…..
