Trump Racist Crime Stat Tweet Came From Neo-Nazi

Charles Johnson at Little Green Footballs did some digging to find out where Donald Trump’s retweet of phony, anti-black crime statistics came from.

My first thought was that it must have originated at a white supremacist website like Stormfront, because it really is that bad. But neither Google Image search nor tineye.com found it posted at any websites. Google Images did, however, find the earliest tweet in which this horrible racist image appeared:

(I saved a screenshot in case it suddenly goes missing.)

UPDATE: Sure enough, it went missing, so here’s that screenshot:

And here’s the bio of the person who posted it:

Now it looks like that user’s account is gone:

    Neo-Nazis for (R) Donnie’16~
I spoke with an ardent longtime GOP supporting female from Staten Island NYC last night. She finally bailed from supporting repubs unanimous Islamophobia’16~. She is Islamic.

your friend is Islamic and she has just now realized that she was on the wrong team?

well, maybe she should talk to the people in her circle (that think the way she did).

Is she an immigrant? All I can think of is she wanted so much to fit in with ‘everyone else’ that she adopted this way of thinking.

It happens to Police of all races. Once they’re accepted into the circle they take on all the ‘us against them’ and violent tendencies of the cop community as a whole.

Yes She’s an immigrant from Herman Cain’s ‘UzbekiBekistan!’

Some unfortunately have to wait until the reference is applied to them but more importantly others (some minorities such as Carson) want to believe that they’re never referring to them.

No wonder Donald thought the source was credible.

Notice I do not identify any group of people in this note…

FBI crime stats show (one group) of people commits:

    1) murder at 6 to 12X the rate (per capita) as does another group

    2) violent crimes at ~35X the rate (per capita) as another group (2010 FBI stat)

Some of the stats Trump retweeted were wrong if you assume there were no filters applied.

That said, the same can be said of 1000s of media stats.

The media is notorious for leaving out filters or including irrelevant or partial data. This tactic allows them to draw any false conclusion they want to support their agenda.

Facts and filters are not hateful or racist by themselves. They are only bad if the conclusion they support is a false one or one that makes someone feel safe or unsafe when the opposite is actually true.

In this case the stats are correct if you include the filters used. The stats also represent reality of the high level of crimes committed by different groups of people who are strangers… as shown by years of FBI crime stats (per capita)

The stat Trump retweeted would be correct if it:

    a) was only for murders by strangers (i.e. street crime, home invasion, etc.)

    b) adjusts for population sizes to get an apples to apples comparison

People in general are most interested in the knowing risk factors presented by strangers given we are far more likely to be murdered by strangers than by family (when you factor in total time spent with each group)
(i.e. we spend 20 total years with family… and 20 total days crossing paths with strangers in a lifetime)

Airlines are far more effective at communicating risks than today’s media.

The airlines present risk in terms of:
    – (crashes per million flight hours by type of plane)… not by
    – (crashes by type of plane).

Note: The below airline data is fiction, meant only as an example of one tactic the media uses to distort reality. (This is the tactic of not using a relevant filter that is needed to show actual risk associated with each plane.)

    Say…

747s have 20 million flight hours and 5 crashes.

777s have 2 million flight hours and 5 crashes.

This media would say both planes are equally safe because both have 5 crashes. Passengers should not discriminate against or be fearful of the 777. (a distortion of reality)

But we would all know the reality that 777s are 10 times more dangerous when you factor in time spent with that plane in the air.

A high proportion of each race is murdered by family and friends that we all spend our entire lives with. We need to factors those out to get the risk of violent crime by strangers.

You spend 100x more time with family/friends than with strangers. We all know this. So when we see stats that are meant to hide the danger posed by strangers of different groups… we all know the truth.

We all are cautious of crossing paths with strangers while alone, especially if the type of stranger is 10X more likely to assault me than another type as proven by years of FBI data and personal experience. This is not bad.. this is common sense.

Today’s media has the agenda of hiding public safety information and FBI data from the people given that information shows the reality of an epidemic of violence within certain communities.
