French TV Calls Out Gingrich For Gun Tweet
Newt Gingrich took to Twitter to advocate for open carry after the Paris attacks and French television responded.
Imagine a theater with 10 or 15 citizens with concealed carry permits. We live in an age when evil men have to be killed by good people

Gingrich’s tweet prompted France 24’s Mark Owen to say he found capitalizing on crises to advance a political agenda to be shameful. “Newt Gingrich, shame on you,” Owen said.
“So he’s using this atrocity to make his point that people should be able to carry guns basically,” Owen said. “It’s funny how people will very distastefully use this kind of situation to express their own particular political [inaudible]. Newt Gingrich, shame on you.”

Based on numbers from The Washington Post in 2012, the U.S. averaged 3.2 gun-related homicides per 100k people – the overwhelming leader in the modern world. How many did France average? A grand total of .06 gun-related homicides per 100k people.

it doesn’t sound sexy but the solution is always education.
Especially educating women.
If people from these countries come into Europe and America they MUST do so with the proviso that they educate their women and children.
And by “education” I mean learning about freedom of Speech and Separation of church and State.
And in America that means we have to get our educational system up to the standards it was when my mother and later when I was going to school. Not the bullshit creationist crap going on in many parts of the country

Hate to say it, but Newt has a point. There haven’t been as many recent terrorist attacks on this continent because in the few cases where it has happened like in Ottawa and Texas, the terrorists were filled full of holes because the intended victims shot back.
