Republican presidential candidate Rick Santorum argued on Wednesday that Rowan County Clerk Kim Davis’ persecution for being a Christian was similar to shooting victims of the 1999 Columbine High School massacre. “Sixteen years ago this country was tremendously inspired by a young woman who faced a gunman in Columbine and was challenged about her faith and…

That pile of clothing is not a hero and santorum will never be President. You can’t pick and choose which of the branches in the government you will work with, the Constitution forces you to work with all three.

Yeah, unless as it seems with Ricky and Davis, you answer to an alternate reality.
(there goes that “intelligent life on Earth” premise down the tubes again!)

Too bad he wasn’t handing out ignore the Supreme Court passes when the SCOTUS gave Bush his first term and ruled on Citizens United. Of course Santorum is consistently only in favor of making exceptions for himself.

Isn’t it amazing that someone who is sworn to uphold the Constitution thinks it’s okay to advise people to violate it?

He’s also anti-choice even when the mother’s life is in jeopardy despite having used that option himself to save his own wife. They seem to ignore the fact that the mother and fetus die when it comes down to that situation. He doesn’t want to be president he wants to be the Great American Pope.

Okay, Mr. Frothy Anal Leakage has everyone’s permission to just shut the f*ck up and go away. The sooner the better. I’m surprised he didn’t compare her to a Holocaust victim.

Nothing changes in some ways when you are as I am, a senior citizen. I heard and read the exact same language decades ago from the exact same politicians as Rick Santorum after Brown v Board of Education. The difference is that today a larger proportion of Americans support forcing the Kim Davis’s to obey the law than the proportion back then supporting forcing the south to obey. But eventually the south was forced and the now considerably smaller minority of bigots, anti-gay rather than anti-black (altho I don’t doubt for a minute many are anti-black too) will be forced now. As to Rick Santorum…I have written for years..in simple English…he is two things: a sexual fruitcake and a political nazi.

And “IF” he is elected President. He has to take an oath to uphold and defend the Constitution ? this should be interesting.

Funny how he never protested the Bush v. Gore decision. Real funny.

We Democrats were incensed, but we didn’t encourage defying the decision.
