Trump Vows To Fight The ‘War On Christmas’

Posted by | August 22, 2015 19:00 | Filed under: News Behaving Badly Politics

From the panderer who says his second favorite book is his own after the Bible, we now have a vow to fight against those horrible people who want to take Christmas away from you.

“I go out of my way to use the word ‘Christmas,’” Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump told an Alabama radio host…

“There’s an assault on anything having to do with Christianity,” Trump told Yellowhammer Radio host Cliff Sims on Friday. “They don’t want to use the word Christmas anymore at department stores…. There’s always lawsuits and unfortunately a lot of those lawsuits are won by the other side.”

As president, Trump vowed, “I will assault that. I will go so strongly against so many of the things, when they take away the word Christmas.”

I hope he sends troops. America would love another war.

Aren’t we already spread a little thin…??? Can we spare the troops necessary to protect the North Pole adequately…???
And it begs the question…Do we really have to send American boys/girls to fight a war Santa’s Elves should be fighting for themselves…??? (said with an LBJ Texas drawl)

Inevitably, this will be followed by photo after photo of Trump-owned-or-operated businesses waging war on Christmas by displaying the hated “Happy Holidays” signs.

Who did the Christians Steal Christmas away from ? Yule Tide is NOT a Christian Invention. Christmas is NOT the Birthdate of Jesus. The Christian Missionaries Stole Christmas from another peoples about 1000 A.D. Just try and find ANY reference of Christmas in ANY Christian history before 1000A.D.

As I understand it, Emperor Constantine adopted the Solstice during the 4th century as he was forcing christianity on the remnants of the Roman Empire. Convert or die was one of his watch words.

The fourth Century might have been a little early. But, it is one avenue of expansion of the Norsemen mythology. The Russi, Finish and Swedish to day, did travel east and South to the Middle East and spread their Religion which was mostly adopted into Christianity. The Russi ‘s counterparts the Vikings traveled West and South invading Christian Monasteries in retaliation for Christian raids and slaughter. In an attempt to Christianize the Norsemen, Christian Missionaries adopted many of the Norsemen traditions and beliefs. Many things we use and observe today come from the Norsemen of Northern Europe.

Trump is awesome. I mean, NO ONE knows how to pander like Trump knows how to pander. He’s YUUUUUUUUGE on pandering. And everyone knows perfectly well that if the Earth spun off its axis and this knucklehead actually got elected President, he wouldn’t do jack-shit for these wingers, because Donald Trump don’t owe nobuddy nuttin

We’re saying “Christmas” less to be more inclusive to people who aren’t Christians, not to destroy Christianity…although, I don’t think I would miss it…

There’s always lawsuits and unfortunately a lot of those lawsuits are won by the other side.

Please cite one example of someone being sued for saying the word ‘Christmas’.

Yes, there are many goobers with too much time on their hands who sue over nativity scenes and the like, but anyone can say ‘Christmas’ or ‘Merry Christmas’ without fear of being sued, even by the goobiest of goobers.

Donald loves promoting Christmas — it’s his favorite time of year to hawk his neckties and cologne.

Of course Christmas is near and dear to his heart. He loves Christ and all of his teachings.

That is why Donald Trump is still married to his teenage sweetheart, he is the epitome of the ethical businessman, and he’s noted for his humble, solicitous manner. He goes to church every Sunday, teaching Sunday School…

Wait, Donald Trump? I thought you said Jimmy Carter. Never mind…
