Pratt: Gunman Targeted Black Church Because They Were ‘Anti-Gun…Liberal Democrats’

Larry Pratt of Gun Owners of America made his reprehensible comments on a gun-oriented radio show.

In an interview with Armed America Radio that was posted online last week, Pratt doubled down, claiming that the shooter, Dylann Roof, targeted a church “populated by liberals” and pastored by “Mr. Anti-Gun” because he knew his victims would be unarmed.

“Since this particular church was pastored by a state senator who was Mr. Anti-Gun,” he said, “then it became pretty obvious that yep, that was a gun-free zone, a bunch of liberal Democrats in there, and the dirtbag that struck, I think knew exactly what he was doing. There’d be plenty of black churches that he could have gone into, and he probably could have met effective resistance, but he went to one where it would be known to be populated by liberals, and then he had open season.”

    WOW ! that is news. Roof said outright that he went in there to kill Blacks. He has said nothing about Liberals, Anti-Gun, or Democrats. but what does he know, he’s just the killer. It is of note that that particular Black Church is also the most popular Black Church around that area. That gives the killer lots of publicity. Oh, let’s not forget that Roof is also a Flag Waving, Racist, Right-Wing, Flaming, Conservative with an illegally owned gun. I guess this Pratt Guy is just another Propaganda Spreading, Lying Republican. They sure do like to twist things around to hide the truth.

    This guy needs to shut the hell up, people should be able to worship in a church without packing heat. He attacked that church, according to his manifesto, to kill blacks since he is racist. He could not go to the hood since his ass would have been blown away. Not because of politics and then say they were weak for forgiving this terrorist but if they would have fought back, then they would have been called all the names in the book.     Well, at least he waited til the bodies were buried before trashing the victims and gunsplain to the rest of us how they brought this on themselves…usually this kind of diarrhea starts to flow out of their mouths before they wash away the blood stains on the floor…

    When are these preachers and 85 year old women going to learn…if you’re not packing, it’s your own fault when you’re killed.
