Michele Bachmann Bemoans That Immigrants Aren’t Asked To Join ‘American’s Predominant Religion’

That would be Christianity.

In an interview with World Net Daily, former Republican congresswoman Michele Bachmann attributed American’s increasingly liberal attitudes on social issues to the inability to entice recent immigrants into “America’s predominant religion,” by which she means: Christianity.

…Bachmann lamented political correctness that looks down upon indoctrinating recently arrived immigrants of all creeds into the one true faith.

“In fact,” she stated. “It is severely frowned upon to suggest new immigrants join America’s predominant Christian religion.”

Well, you just can’t argue with the truth.

“…American’s increasingly liberal attitudes on social issues…” Seems to me that’s a good thing. What’s she complaining about?

    • Suzanne McFly June 1st, 2015 at 19:10

She is afraid her husband will marry a man if he is allowed.

  3. whatthe46 June 1st, 2015 at 19:20

these people are so stupid. people are just suppose to give up their faith, a faith they too hold dear for all their years, to placate this idiot. fk ’em all.

    • Bunya June 1st, 2015 at 22:09

It seems to me that’s exactly what she wants. She wants people coming to this country to believe what she believes, because her religion is right and everybody else is wrong.

      • whatthe46 June 1st, 2015 at 22:12

        it’s disgusting.

      • Progressive Republican June 2nd, 2015 at 21:23

They should all speak english as well. None of that foreign crap here.

        • Bunya June 3rd, 2015 at 11:58

Yeah well, I’ve been told I’m one of those “godless heathens” who’s going to burn in hell. Is there a country out there that caters to us sinners?

And while we’re at it, let’s do away with all those weird accents. Everyone should talk alike.

          • Progressive Republican June 4th, 2015 at 01:52

            It’s just, like, so annoying…

I wonder which ‘immigrants’ she’s referring to. Most Hispanics are Catholics, as are some Asians.

    • Larry Schmitt June 1st, 2015 at 20:27

And she didn’t even have to take off her shoes.

I have a suggestion for Michele:

Why don’t you and Marcus greet them at the border with little goodie bags of Christian trinkets? I’m sure you’ll have great success.

One complication, though. They may be quite confused if you ask Marcus to deliver the anti-gay message.

Because they’re taught that the 1st Amendment to the Constitution allows them to practice ANY Religion (including their current one) or even have NO Religion.

I especially like the 2nd Amendment as it gives Muslim Americans the RIGHT TO KEEP AND BEAR NUCLEAR ARMS!
    – and that CONSTITUTIONAL RIGHT SHALL NOT BE INFRINGED UPON!!!

This is solid evidence Bachmann wants to join the other candidates on the hustings* vying for the GOP nomination.
We can see why she gave Palin and Romney a run for their money in securing the nomination with dumbass like this.

After all, the immigrants they are so opposed to are from south of the border and are overwhelmingly Catholic, and are frequently quite devout. Had the GOP been smarter, they could be attracting far more of them in elections than they do.
One thing that could work in our disfavor on the Left is if the ones who are bigoted toward Christians became a Tea Party on the Left and their attacks on sites like this were quoted and became a campaign issue.

    * Hustings – always a gas to have an opportunity to drop “hustings.”

Well, if you can’t bring Christian mercenaries to the ‘Godless heathens’, then why not take advantage of the Godless heathens that are delivered into the hands of domestic mercenaries?
In other words, Bachmann’s cluelessness knows no bounds.

She’ll call down a curse on you, and you’ll be struck by lightning. Or severe dandruff. Or something.

  15. Progressive Republican June 2nd, 2015 at 21:21

I’m guessing it’s escaped her notice that Catholicism is America’s predominant religion and that the biggest chunk of immigrants are too…

    But that’s just a guess.
