Santorum Announces As The Candidate Of The Middle Class

Rick Santorum says he is the candidate to champion the middle class.

Mr. Santorum, 57, was the surprise winner of the Iowa caucuses in 2012, thanks to evangelical Christian voters, and he went on to win 10 other states, dragging out Mitt Romney’s quest for the nomination.

Still, he has struggled to catch on this time around. He is in danger of not making the 10-candidate cutoff for the first Republican debate on Aug. 6, which will be determined by standings in national polls…

He criticized his party for being stuck “with a 35-year-old message on the economy,” namely cutting taxes for the rich.

It is a message that has yet to gain much traction with the party’s base. But Mr. Santorum’s interest in economic populism is genuine, said John Brabender, his top strategist.

“He does feel very, very passionate about this whole idea we have to become the voice of working families,” Mr. Brabender said.

Santorum thinks he may make VP, dangling himself as did GHWB’s nutty VP Dan “potatoe” Quayle, mimicking the ‘heartbeat-away’ life insurance policy grifter. http://www.urbandictionary.com/define.php?term=potatoe

If he’s so passionate, let him publicly ask Bernie Sanders to author a joint plan that Sanders can submit next week with great public fanfare.

This should be clear, straight language that does nothing other than bring the top earners’ taxes back in line with historical GDP ratios.

    I’ll hold my breath.

He has no idea how to speak for or to the middle class. Like in 2012, he will have to constantly downplay the fact that he wants to outlaw birth control. He has no chance of winning the nomination and an even smaller chance at being president because he is a radical fringe fundamentalist.

sure thing rick: keep the working families working for what they believe is subsistance while all they are doing is making that 1% crowd richer. When Bernie Sanders’ concepts are accepted and understood (parity?) maybe the usa will again become and envied place – it’s not that anymore so no problem with immigration.

Nope, also the candidate of the right wing super-duper Christian baby sitter lobby.

He represents the middle class? Yeah, right and I am here from Pluto asking why my planet is no longer recognized by you damn humans.

Cruz, Walker, Bush, Fiorina, Huckabee, Christie, Paul, Carson, Rubio, Perry, Graham? Okay, by their standards, Santorum’s the middle class candidate.
      Not by mine.

The folks you listed are not really running for the presidency.

They are just killing time before they go to heaven.

An example of deliberate coining is the word ‘santorum’, purported to mean ‘a frothy mixture of lube and fecal matter that is sometimes the byproduct of anal sex’

Each and every time you google Santorum and click on the definition it reinforces the definition. If too many people do it, it will be there forever and Santorum’s descendants will have to live with it. So whatever you do, don’t google the name Santorum. Make sure all your friends don’t google “Santorum” either.

I promise I won’t, more than twice, and no more than two friends; daily or perhaps hourly.

Every morning the first thing he does is decide whether or not he will be gay that day.

Let’s hope he has Josh Duggar vouch for him in a television commercial. That’ll REALLY lock up the middle class, sister-raping pedophile, vote for him!

Santorum / Brownback 2016 would be a real Charmin ticket
