Will: Criticizing Obama On Iraq Will Be Trouble For Republicans

“Various Republicans and presidential candidates are being drawn by the logic of their criticism of Barack Obama into saying we should go back in with ground troops,” Will said on Fox News Sunday. “ISIS is a big problem for Barack Obama. The more they criticize him, it’s gonna be a big problem for Republicans, who will be challenged: if you will the end, you have to will the means to that end, and what are your means?”
[Host Chris] Wallace said the Republicans in question, among them George Pataki,John McCain, and Lindsey Graham, weren’t talking about a “re-invasion,” just 10-20,000 more troops. Will said that was invasion enough.

Here’s what I propose: we don’t listen to anyone who was an active, enthusiastic cheerleader for the 2003 Iraq invasion when it come to boots on the ground in Iraq now.
They’ve already shown they don’t know anything about the Shia/Sunni/Kurds power dynamic and that they’ve learned nothing in the intervening years.

That is exactly right, George Will!! Your Fox News will be “cutting it’s nose off to spite it’s face”… (an ‘old saying’ I recall from my Grandmama)!! But that’s what Fox will be doing because there really isn’t anyone within the GOP’s *crowded clown car* to come forth with a viable solution to be bragging about — so it would be best for them to just “ZIP IT” on that subject for now!! The ISIS marauders have enough to be laughing at America’s Politics now — so, please, have a little thought about what you’re all squealing to the world so publicly about!! They probably think all of our “Pundits” are nut cases already — but don’t let them add just more to their ‘list’… please!!! :-( They are “relishing” all of this political “in-fighting” between the Dems and the GOP, I’m sure!! And does nothing but “set us up” to look weak and indecisive, and seeming like a bunch of “No-Nothings” they can dream about coming here and marching down our streets and rounding us up like a herd of sheep… like they’ve been doing over there! We need to appear as a strong, united ‘FRONT’ against them or any others that think of us as an “easy target”!! JUST STOP WITH THE NAME-CALLING AND FINGER-POINTING, AND AT LEAST “APPEAR” TO “GROW SOME”!!! :-O
