Right-Wing Group Mirrors ISIS Tactics

Whether domestic or international, terrorist groups learn from each other and it seems extremists in the United States are now taking lessons from ISIS. Copying a tactic used just a few weeks ago, the names and personal information of government officials have been released by right wing fanatics chock full of threatening language and calls for violence.

Last month, the names and personal information of 100 U.S. military personnel were leaked online by a group claiming allegiance to the Islamic State of Iraq and Syria (ISIS).

In this case, however, sources tell CBS News that investigators believe an apparent right-wing extremist group is behind the posting of the information.

FBI Investigators attempting to find the source of this release are finding diatribes identical to what political observers see and hear every day from conservative commentators. Anti-government, new world order conspiracies expressed with such gusto that only the caps lock key will do.

A message along with the posting titled “DHS-CIA-FBI TRAITORS HOME ADDRESSES” states:

“LET THESE EVIL NWO SATANISTS KNOW THAT THERE WILL BE HELL TO PAY FOR THEIR 911 TREASON, AND THEIR FUTURE FEMA CAMP PLANNED PUBLIC CRACKDOWN TREASON ALSO

JESUS IS LORD, AND THE PUBLIC IS IN CHARGE, NOT THESE SATANIC NWO STOOGES”

Officials who had their personal information released have been informed, and steps to provide for their security have been taken. As of this writing no attacks have taken place.

They are so similar in nature, it only makes sense. That is why the far right in America is so dangerous.

And it doesn’t matter which religion the extremists follow. But you’ll have a long wait before fox uses the terrorist label for anyone but Muslims.

Who needs terrorists when we have right wing wack jobs at home trying to do it better and being instigated by right wing media, religionists and GOP politicians.

It’s not surprising that these religious nutjobs didn’t include their names and/or the name of their organization. These UnAmerican, unpatriotic cowards generally prefer to remain anonymous.

Well they are “heroes” so it is safe to say they are white males, right?

    ISIS is a right-wing group.

I’m dead serious about that, BTW.

I have had the unusual experience of having lived among both Muslim and Christian fundamentalists.

Those two groups have more in common with each other than they do with their countrymen.

probably same people backing both groups through the $3,000,000,000,000 offshore bank accounts that were created during the occupational liberation of Iraq.

Umm … publishing the names of government officials is now “terrorism”? Government officials are supposed to be the servants of the people, but we’re not allowed to even know who they are? I don’t know who these people are or what they are trying to accomplish. But it’s funny how when the New York “Journal News” published the names and addresses of registered gun owners back in 2012, I don’t recall anyone saying that was “terrorism”. Several states have recently announced that they will begin publishing the names and addresses of people who have not paid their taxes in full. Would you call that “terrorism”?
