Ferguson Officials Linked Black Abortions To Crime Prevention

Posted by | April 4, 2015 18:00 | Filed under: News Behaving Badly Top Stories

This, and other racist, sexist emails have now been released in response to a public records request.

Among the highlights:

  • A photo of Ronald Reagan feeding a chimpanzee from a milk bottle over the caption, “Rare photo of Ronald Reagan babysitting Barack Obama in early 1962.”
  • A joke about a guy who failed to get state welfare for his state dogs until he explained that they were “mixed in color, unemployed, lazy, can’t speak English and have no frigging clue who their Daddies are.”
  • A one-liner about a guy who learns his wife is seeing another man: “But, by turning to religion, I was soon able to come to terms with the whole thing,” it reads. “I converted to Islam, and we’re stoning her in the morning!”
  • A joke about a black woman who has her pregnancy terminated in New Orleans, then receives a $5,000 check two weeks later, Gawker reports. “She phoned the hospital to ask who it was from,” reads the joke. “The hospital said, ‘Crimestoppers.'”

And these racist scum are supposed to be “serving” the mostly black residents of Ferguson. Is it any wonder they don’t trust the police, from the chief on down?

    • Bob Cronos April 5th, 2015 at 00:30

Perhaps there’s a reason the police don’t trust the mostly black residents…?

      • bpollen April 5th, 2015 at 01:22

        Bigotry.

        • Bob Cronos April 5th, 2015 at 01:24

          Or experience…

          • bpollen April 5th, 2015 at 01:32

Oh, yeah, it was experience they were exhibiting in their emails – experience at bigotry. Not only are they bigots, they are rather stupid bigots for leaving a trail of evidence that led right to their doors. But, feel free to embrace and defend bigotry. This is America – where you have a right to your own opinion no matter how erroneous or asinine.

            • Bob Cronos April 5th, 2015 at 02:08

“…it was experience they were exhibiting in their emails – ” — Of course it was, what else would it be?

“This is America – where you have a right to your own opinion no matter how erroneous or asinine” — You should remember that before trying to tell others how to live their lives and do their jobs…

              • Larry Schmitt April 5th, 2015 at 07:13

Yes, you have the right to your own opinions, no matter how racist they are, but you don’t have the right to keep a job where those opinions will adversely affect the people you are supposed to serve. And that seems to be the case here.

              • RioBravoHombre April 5th, 2015 at 11:17

Nope. In America, you work at the whim of your employer, dumbfucker.

                • aaronfrederick12 April 6th, 2015 at 00:19

You are going to be banned from RawStory for your racist comments,

              • bpollen April 5th, 2015 at 23:14

Please, once again, show proof that I am telling people how to live their lives and do their jobs. Prove any damn thing you say. You say the president has no credentials, that healthcare is NOT provided by Planned Parenthood, that fetuses are holding anti-abortion rallies, that the racists sending racists emails to other racists in the Ferguson Police Department aren’t racists (just experienced,) that black communities having black criminals in their midst is proof that there is a problem with black communities, that I am ordering people around, and so on…

Can you show ANYTHING to prove you that you are something more than a bigoted empty suit?

            • rocker April 5th, 2015 at 04:47

They should have taken something from Hillarys playbook… DELETE it all before someone sees it…

          • StoneyCurtisll April 5th, 2015 at 01:40

            Oh look…
We got a live racist on the hook..
yank the pole and reel him in~!
            He might be a keeper~!

            • Bob Cronos April 5th, 2015 at 01:51

How does the fact that most criminals in a black community are black make me a racist?

We got a live non-thinker on the hook.. yank the pole and reel him in!

              • StoneyCurtisll April 5th, 2015 at 02:09

“How does the fact that most criminals in a black community are black make me a racist”?
                Seriously?

I would assume that most people in a black community are already “black”..

You ignorant mother fugger, maybe you should proof read your racist comments before posting them..
And next time dont forget the White Power shout out to you friends..

              • StoneyCurtisll April 5th, 2015 at 02:13

Andi just want to thank you for proving that hatred, racism ignorance and the right wing agenda are inseparable…

                • Bob Cronos April 6th, 2015 at 02:58

Only in your little mind… Reality is much more complicated…

                • rocker April 6th, 2015 at 06:40

Such a narrow minded waste of space..

          • Larry Schmitt April 5th, 2015 at 04:47

And it was experience that led the city to use the black residents as a source of income.

      • RioBravoHombre April 5th, 2015 at 11:16

Because assplugs like they and you are racists?

      • Carla Akins April 6th, 2015 at 04:09

It’s called implicit bias. Seriously, Take the test. https://implicit.harvard.edu/implicit/takeatest.html

        • Bob Cronos April 7th, 2015 at 00:56

I don’t have to take some Harvaad liberal College kid’s tests… I’m implicitly biased in thousands of different ways, just like you are, and everyone else too…

When you see the same things over and over again, you begin to believe they’re true – it’s human nature…

          • Carla Akins April 7th, 2015 at 07:04

It’s not about seeing things over and over. People of all colors do this. The test takes a couple of minutes. People react the way they react it’s – the difference is knowing that it happens so that you can be aware of it. It’s not a matter of saying I’ve seen bad things so I’ve come to expect it – that’s not what it’s about. It’s about how the brain works. It doesn’t make one a bad person, exactly the opposite – it’s recognizing that it exists in all of us. In fact, choosing to willfully ignore it, or refusing to accept privilege exists that makes you a intentionally ignorant person. You have the tools, to better educate yourself in this manner, and you’re certainly smart enough – it’s just a matter if you choose to.

  2. nola878 April 4th, 2015 at 19:11

Sometimes I’m ashamed to call myself a human being. This is one of them.

  3. Dwendt44 April 4th, 2015 at 19:41

Claiming that abortion was at least partly responsible for the drop in crime has been around a good while. While pretty far fetched, I’d bet the farm that it is one justification that the wacky right would accept for keeping abortion legal.

    • Bob Cronos April 5th, 2015 at 00:39

Planned Parenthood spent $30 million on a new “clinic” right in the middle of the largest black community here 3 years ago… That was the wacky left reducing crime, not the right…

      • bpollen April 5th, 2015 at 01:20

Providing access to healthcare is a crime-reduction measure? Then so is the VA, the Affordable Care Act, Social Security, Medicare, Medicaid, and so on. Logically, not providing healthcare to ANY-FRICKIN-BODY is actually a crime prevention measure – dead people don’t commit crimes. So, not only is it false equivalency, it doesn’t even logically connect your bigotry to anything resembling facts – or consistency.

        • Bob Cronos April 5th, 2015 at 01:32

Healthcare? I’m guessing the innocent fetuses would disagree…

Of course Margaret Sanger would agree though…

          • StoneyCurtisll April 5th, 2015 at 01:34

            STFUAH…

            • Bob Cronos April 5th, 2015 at 02:45

So you can control the conversation with your love and tolerance?
              No thanks… Hope you’re not a parent…

              • RioBravoHombre April 5th, 2015 at 11:15

Let us know when you and assplugs like you give a damn about live, poor kids, their educational chances, their healthcare or their future, ok, dickwipe?

          • StoneyCurtisll April 5th, 2015 at 02:19

            Hey idiot…
When was the last time you heard the opinion of a “fetus”..
If you have one, let me know what it thinks.

            • Bob Cronos April 5th, 2015 at 02:43

Ah… So if a life form can’t speak for itself, it’s fair game for destruction… I’m glad I don’t live in your sad, deadly world…

              • bpollen April 5th, 2015 at 23:05

False equivalence. You presume that you can speak for them. You can protect them. Oh great white savior! Did you do a poll to find out what fetuses think? What do you do to help prevent unintended pregnancies? How many babies have you adopted from amongst them? You seem to profess great concern, so what concrete steps have you taken to help? What do you do for the poor expectant mothers?

            • Carla Akins April 6th, 2015 at 04:08

Stoney – I disagree with Bob as well but he is not calling anyone names.

              • StoneyCurtisll April 7th, 2015 at 18:55

                My apologies..
                Sometimes bad Stoney comes out..
                Usually after drinking the “potion”…
                (hanging head in shame)
In the future I will tamp down the Mr. Hyde in me.

Ad thank you for pointing out what I should have already known as an unacceptable comment.

          • bpollen April 5th, 2015 at 22:58

So, ALL that Planned Parenthood does is abortions? Really? Did you even spend a second to CHECK? If you check for actual facts, you’ll see that 3% or less of their services are related to abortion. Using that math stuff (hard on the thinker, I know…) we can thereby determine that your post is at least 97% BS. But contraception, PAP smears, breast exams, STD tests, providing educational programs to 1.5 million children a year, that’s not healthcare? It would appear that you are confused about what the word “healthcare” means. But, seeing as I am a nice guy, here’s a link to show you the ACTUAL meaning:

            http://www.merriam-webster.com/medical/health%20care

            • Bob Cronos April 6th, 2015 at 02:50

To me, killing a fetus is like killing a guest you invited into your home… There really is no good excuse to kill them unless they turn on you with deadly intent…

              • bpollen April 6th, 2015 at 14:54

All very nice and not pertinent. Your personal opinion about abortion did NOTHING to make your false assertions correct. Ever hear of unintended pregnancy? Where you didn’t know you were inviting them? How about with rape? Should you welcome the guest who inserted into your home by force?

If you don’t like abortions, don’t have one. According to the law, it’s a legal procedure, one exclusively for women. Unless you have XX instead of XY, you aren’t ELIGIBLE for an abortion. And I am pretty sure women aren’t lining up to medical advice from you. Not when there are QUALIFIED people to get advice from.

As I keep asking you, prove something you say. Anything.

      • StoneyCurtisll April 5th, 2015 at 01:38

We are serving grilled fetuses on Easter Sunday..
        Care to join us?

        • Bob Cronos April 5th, 2015 at 02:35

My unaborted children will be joining me for dinner on Sunday, but thank you for the invitation to your nightmare… maybe in your next life you will show some concern for the helpless…

          • fahvel April 5th, 2015 at 04:17

they have been – all these nice folks responding to your helplessly void comments – it’s just so hard to get through cranial concrete.

            • Bob Cronos April 6th, 2015 at 02:29

Maybe when you grow up, you’ll understand that “cranial concrete” is preventing you from seeing that someone can disagree with you and still be right…

A Chimpanzee is not a “monkey” ya stooge..
And people voted for this idiot.

    • Larry Schmitt April 4th, 2015 at 20:09

The “monkey” was a better actor. More natural.

      • StoneyCurtisll April 4th, 2015 at 20:20

And would have made a better president.

      • Bob Cronos April 5th, 2015 at 00:26

So is it OK if Obama is compared to a monkey?

        • bpollen April 5th, 2015 at 01:23

Please, show me the listings for Obama’s movie career on IMDB, since you are saying that he is an actor.

          • Bob Cronos April 5th, 2015 at 02:30

He has no outstanding credentials in ANY occupation except lying in front of a camera… Isn’t that acting? … But I don’t think IMDB has a category for that – yet…

            • bpollen April 5th, 2015 at 22:40

Are you a graduate of Harvard Law? Were you president of Harvard Law Review? Did you pass the bar? Practice as a lawyer? Teach constitutional law at college level? Did you get elected to the state legislature 3 times and to the US Senate once? Were you elected president by a clear majority of actual voters? Twice? Did you give millions of people healthcare they couldn’t otherwise afford?

Please show me wrong. Please share your CV, your dazzling list of accomplishment! Where have you taught? Where did you practice law? What elected offices have you held? Colleges, the American Bar Association, the people of IL, and the people of the US thought Obama was qualified enough to elect him to office 5 times. Surely you can present GREATER votes of confidence than he?

Can you show that you are in any way qualified to doubt his accomplishments, or do you just show yourself to be a bigoted schmendrick with delusions of competence?

I hate having to buy new shoes… takes forever to break them in right.

Reagan actually appeared in more than one movie with a chimp. References to black people and apes have no such basis in fact, they are obvious racist references. This is an intellectual reference. And you are obvious struggling to make a point and just as obviously failing.

Yet not answer to that question. Abortion is still a tiny portion of the business PP does and that number was from 2012, newer numbers will be even lower with the recent closures. If the bible thumpers weren’t so busy passing legislature to shame women for having sex and worked harder at providing real and effective sex education and birth control this would be a non-issue. And yes, PP offer healthcare 97% of the time.
