Even the 89% white GOP and 95% white TP admits their minority outreach failed. So Schlapp says Jeb Bush is coming to CPAC to announce his VP: Jeb / Ben Carson’16~

So according to this guy, the proper role of government consists of lining the coffers of defense contractors with trillions of tax payer dollars and sending our military to foreign countries so that we will be “feared”. Doesn’t this idiot understand that such actions generate hate and not fear? There are already plenty of people in the world who hate us. How’s that working out from a national security standpoint? Let me know right after you are strip searched prior to your next airline trip.

On the home front, given their cheerleading for gutting the Voting Rights Act and for voter id, I see zero evidence they give a rat’s a$$ about protecting anyone’s rights.

So this is 21st century conservatism? Trillions for corporations and killing people abroad accompanied by the undoing the remarkable gains of the 1960’s. No thanks.

    Let’s review what he said…
1.) America in the world is one of the few positive forces to keep the world stable.
2.) I like that we’re feared. I worry we’re not feared as much as we should be.
3.) government has a big role, an important role, in assuring our rights are protected.

#1. The instability in the world can be directly attributed to the actions of the US.
#2. I’d rather the world respected us instead.
#3. The only threat to our right’s comes from government.

It’s no wonder conservatives are considered the party of stupid.
