Since I haven’t sent weapons myself to any mujahadeen, and since I haven’t given my permission (like they would ask…) for the government to do so, why am *I* proscribed from criticizing Putin? Is Stalin sacrosanct too?

I disagree. Putin may be a lot of things, but he’s not stupid. I honestly think he’s interested in governing only Russia, unlike the United States, who has to have a hand in every other country’s affairs.

I’m far more concerned about any of the rabid right-wingers in the GOP getting their hands on a nuclear arsenal.
