Russian President Vladimir Putin said Saturday that Moscow did not plan to wage war on anyone, but added that a world order where one leader tells others what to do would not be tolerated. “There clearly is an attempt to restrain our development with different means. There is an attempt to freeze the existing world order……

shorty is feeling the pain of all his disastrous decisions. A failing war, a falling ruble and an economy that is tanking. The KGB guy messed up real bad, did not “read” Obama and the other world leaders very well.

You don’t read anybody well when you are disconnected from reality and suffering from aspergers syndrome.

lol, he has something wrong with him.

Putin continues to deny arming pro-Russian rebels in Ukraine and he again stressed that USA & EU sanctions imposed on Russia in retaliation over its role in the conflict. “Sanctions – (blah-blah) although they are causing a certain damage to us.”

Russia’s teeny weenie $2 T “Junk bond” GDP is in a depression, while the Ruble lost over half its value in 2014. http://www.bbc.com/news/business-30492518 2015’s 65 Rubles per dollar tanks another -6.7% after Russia hikes interest rates to 17% & cuts spending. I guess that’s true, if you don’t count Ukraine!

“… with one incontestable leader who wants to remain as such thinking he is allowed everything while other are only allowed what he allows and only in his interests.” — This is something that someone who is disconnected from reality and lacks empathy would say. Someone who is not mentally fit to run a country because they are suffering from aspergers syndrome. To Putin, this all a game and if we all die because of his folly, so be it.

Putin the most dangerous man on planet earth.

    • fahvel February 8th, 2015 at 18:58

why is Putin any more dangerous than a particular n. american country that arms others at its discretion any time it wants?

      • mea_mark February 8th, 2015 at 19:00

Because he is disconnected from reality and thinks it is all a game. No empathy, for him, reality really is, all about him.

That’s the ol’ “But, Mom, Jimmie does it too!” argument. Some of us actually decry US interference in foreign countries. Since I haven’t sent weapons myself to any mujahadeen, and since I haven’t given my permission (like they would ask…) for the government to do so, why am *I* proscribed from criticizing Putin? Is Stalin sacrosanct too?

    • Bunya February 8th, 2015 at 23:29

I disagree. Putin may be a lot of things, but he’s not stupid. I honestly think he’s interested in governing only Russia, unlike the United States, who has to have a hand in every other country’s affairs.

You’re not going to be happy unless we’re bombing somebody. I have yet to hear of anybody you actually like.

      • mea_mark February 9th, 2015 at 09:03

I never said he was stupid. He has aspergers and is very intelligent. He is disconnected from reality and lacks empathy. He is interested in governing Russia more because he thinks, he is Russia, more than anything else.

        • Bunya February 9th, 2015 at 13:30

I may be wrong, but after the last “hair on fire” conjecture we were fed (the “smokin’ gun/mushroom cloud” scenario), I’m a little skeptical when it comes to demonizing someone because of something he/she might do.

        • jasperjava February 10th, 2015 at 08:24

Putin has been President or Prime minister of Russia since 2000, and the recent Ukraine business has been the only destabilisizing incident.

I’m far more concerned about any of the rabid right-wingers in the GOP getting their hands on a nuclear arsenal.

          • mea_mark February 10th, 2015 at 08:44

I used to think that way. The more I learn about Putin the less so.

the whole bunch of you have fallen for the archaic idea of Russia being the bad guy – give it up and clean your own house.

    • mea_mark February 8th, 2015 at 19:03

No. Putin really does have a mental/emotional/psychological problem. He really is unstable. The only thing that has been keeping him stable has been ‘winning’. As soon he really thinks he is losing … heaven help us all.

    • bpollen February 8th, 2015 at 20:05

Uhhh… I’m hearing that Putin is a bad guy. The “Russia as bad guy” rubric is as dated as “Ozzie & Harriet.”

Too late, he has already been waging war against the Ukraine for several months now, and the west won’t even send the Ukrainians defensive weapons. Looks like appeasement is the order of the day again.

    • jasperjava February 10th, 2015 at 06:24

A few months ago you were gushing about Putin’s manly muscular thighs.

I guess the crush is over? Now all you have is your nasty, weaselly bitter hate.
