Peter King: We Didn’t Torture, We Just Had People ‘Stand In Awkward Positions’

Congressman Peter King, who believes the Senate torture report is just a distraction from Obamacare, and who believe’s you hate America if you’re for the report, doesn’t believe we’ve tortured anyone.

“We’re not talking about anyone being burned or stabbed or cut or anything like that. We’re talking about people being made to stand in awkward in positions, have water put into their nose and into their mouth. Nobody suffered any lasting injuries from this…

“I don’t believe these are torture at all. For instance, waterboarding, there were medical personnel present during the whole time. It creates tremendous discomfort — there’s no doubt about it. It creates tremendous fear, but the fact is there was no lasting damage to these people and we got information from them, which is very helpful,” King Told W-CBS in New York.

ha,ha,ha – WHITE RACIST Republicans have such a sense of humor. More people died from starvation in Nazi Concentration camps than were gassed in the showers, isn’t that hilarious, Pete?

Peter King has jumped the shark on so many issues of late. I really think he’s suffering from dementia. I’m dead serious. I have never heard a man make so many Glen-Beck-esque comments in such a short period of time: Eric Garner, Gruber-gate, now this? I do think his cognitive ability is compromised. I really do.

Pandering to his moronic base in Long Island…they make Hitler look like a communist

I wonder what awkward positions King would assume with a couple live electrodes in his scrotum …….amazing how the gopee minimize the horrors of torture..good nazis ….except for McCain who knows what it is really all about.

And it’s really incredible that the only conservatives who are completely against torture are those like McCain, who have been through it. How is it the rest of them can’t understand it’s wrong without experiencing it personally? There was a PSA on the Daily Show last night from a human rights organization, with several former CIA and FBI agents who had seen this stuff, and they all said it’s wrong. I wonder if their statements would have any impact on people like King. Probably not, if McCain’s didn’t.

You have to have empathy and feeling for your fellow man…all viewed as serious character flaws by the gopee… Like their anti abortion stand… till the fetus leaves the womb and by some miracle transforms into a parasite on society.

Wonder how he’d feel if the Brits had interrogated his IRA buddies using the same awkward positions?

Republicans can’t lie themselves out of this report. The world is the judge and jury. The Bush Administration and it’s culpable minions are for the most part, forever prisoners within the confines of this country and they leave a horrendous historical legacy.
