Landrieu’s Ad Says Vote For Her Or Obama Gets Impeached

Posted by | December 1, 2014 21:00 | Filed under: Politics Top Stories

Louisiana Senator Mary Landrieu, in a fierce battle to keep her job, is running an ad saying if Bill Cassidy wins, he’ll work to impeach President Obama.

This is Congressman Cedric Richmond. Have you heard the crazy stuff Bill Cassidy, Bobby Jindal, and the Republicans are always saying about President Obama? They have shown our president so much disrespect. They said he wasn’t a U.S. citizen, they even sued him – and if Cassidy wins, they will impeach him. Do you remember when the stock market was at 7,000? Now it’s at 17,000, but they say the economy is horrible. Do you remember how bad the unemployment numbers were under the Republicans? Now, unemployment claims are lower then they have been in 14 years. The president needs you to have his back – now, more than ever. Show Bill Cassidy and Bobby Jindal that we don’t want to go backwards, and let them shut down government – where people don’t have affordable health care, and our country was in terrible shape. On Saturday, December 6, get out and re-elect Senator Mary Landrieu, number 5 on the ballot, to fight for you.

As bad as the overall approach to this ad is, if the DNC ran the midterm election campaign using this message (minus the impeachment), their results would have been more positive. This is the type of affirmative statement that the Democratic Party should have been making instead of the wishy-washy nonsense it did.

she realized far too late that running with the President and your party is how you win.

Exactly. All Democrats should have stood with the president. Will they ever grow a f*cknig spine?

We better learn and change or this country will be in big trouble if the right, namely the teabaggs gain even more control of the government.

Suddenly it dawns on the beast that distancing herself from Obama might not be the way to go.

Same with our only Democratic Congress person since his father’s plane went down in the early 70s–Mark Begich. Gawd they are stupid. Obama pulled us back from the Second Great Depression, helped the auto industry survive, got health insurance to a lot of folks who didn’t have it, the stock market has tripled, and he could have done a lot more with some–read ANY–cooperation from members of the GOPTP. Instead, the stupid “Democratic” candidates ran away from him as far as they could. STUPID STUPID STUPID.

You were and part of the implosion of the Democratic Party. You all lost your mind with greed, and I don’t what.

Why doesn’t she just switch parties and run as a moderate Republican? I’m sick of these folks. Be a Democrat, or don’t be a Democrat. But stop trying to be both at once.

She pretty much did, and it didn’t.

ps…looks like Vitter’s going be out next governor. Talk about stupid voters.

She is running a very targeted ad campaign of late… “pro-Obama, I’m with him’ in radio ads targeting blacks, and “I fight against Obama” when placing ads in the white markets…

    • mea_mark December 2nd, 2014 at 12:37

It almost sounds like an experiment just to see how voters react to a different message. The democrats may learn something from this and that can be good. It is time for the democrats to focus on the issues the people really care about and not what the corporate donors care about. All Americans need to come first.
