Man Accidentally Shoots Friend Instead Of Home Invaders

An Arizona man was injured on Tuesday morning in an accidental shooting that was originally reported as a home invasion.

Warning: the story is confusing.

According to AZCentral, the police were called to the area about 4:30 a.m. on Tuesday after a man alerted officers that two other men were had been banging on the front door of his home.

The men ended up kicking in his door, police said.

According to Your West Valley,  the man who called police was in his 20s and said that two men were banging on his front door.

When the suspects entered into the victim’s house, they asked who was home at the time.

Another man who was already inside the residence accidentally shot his friend, who answered the door.

The victim suffered non life-threatening injuries.

I’m confused, too. I thought you were supposed to shoot the bad guys with a gun, or maybe they didn’t even have a gun, so he shot his friend.

No. It’s always better to start shooting your friends because hey we all need target practice.

My friends usually don’t kick in my door, even for fun.

      A likely story ^.

OK, I’ll bite. How do they get in your door then?

Well, first they have to have a valid ID.

Damn skippy! In my universe, you have to present valid photo ID to get into the building that takes your photo for your ID.

Hint: Stand just to the side of the welcome mat when you ring the bell.

Well as long as someone was shot, that’s all that really matters.

Most confusion stems from fact that average Americans are in perpetual fear of something (home invasions!!!!!) that are actually pretty darn rare.
