Shaquille O’Neal Applies To Join Reserve Police Force In Florida

Shaq wants to be a reserve officer in Doral, Florida.

O’Neal, who is 7 ft. 1 in., will now have to clear a background check, as well as pass Florida’s officer-certification exam, beforejoining the department in Doral, about 13 miles west of Miami. The test will assess the three-time All-Star Game MVP’s physical and psychological fitness, city spokeswoman Christina Baguer told the MiamiHerald.

The doorframe-filling O’Neal will “have to do everything else to be certified by the Florida Department of Law Enforcement, just like any of our other officers, reserve or not reserve,” said Baguer.

Give him the body armor (if they make any in his size) and a billy club and that’s one-man crowd control. I know I’d do whatever he told me to do without need for tear gas.

If they have black officers, it’s a Reverse Ferguson Police Force.

It might be worth committing a crime just to see if he shows up.
