Army: Bergdahl Didn’t Aid Taliban

There is no evidence that Sgt. Bowe Bergdahl cooperated with the Taliban.

There’s been much speculation about whether Bergdahl deserted his post, but some former members of Bergdahl’s platoon went further and suggested that attacks on U.S. troops seemed to suspiciously increase after Bergdahl disappeared. An anonymous Army official told the [Wall Street] Journal that investigators “have no reason to believe that he engaged in any misconduct” while he was in captivity, however.

The Army has yet to actually interview Bergdahl for its investigation into the circumstances surrounding his capture. He hasn’t asked for a lawyer or been read his legal rights, according to the Associated Press, The team helping Bergdahl readjust to life in the U.S. has also informed him that any information he volunteers while he is in outpatient care could be used against him later.

The chatter in the right wing forums is that the fix is in. The Obama administration using Chicago thug politics has orchestrated a false campaign to cover up Bergdahl’s treason.

Frankly, I have a hard time keeping up with the right wing talking points. One day, the President is a feckless, incompetent community organizer, in way over his head, incapable of doing anything.

The very next day, he is Tony Soprano able to make the United States Army cower and bend to his every whim. When you live in a fantasy alternate universe, I guess you have to have that kind of “flexibility” to fabricate whatever fairy tale best suits your needs.

He is a traitor and a deserter

They already ruled out traitor. The deserter part hasn’t been proven yet. Good thing he’s from America, where everyone is innocent until proven guilty.

Well just like myself and every other service member out there knows that he is a deserter. Under no circumstances do you leave your post. He is a sergeant. If one of my marines ever did that I would ensure that he was thrown into the brig.

Plenty of douche, but not a lot of firepower. More like a douche turkey baster.

One of your marines? Yeah, right.

You can’t and don’t speak for every other service member out there. Making that statement shows how weak your argument is. In addition you have no evidence as to what actually happened. I don’t know what happened and you don’t either. The difference between the two of us is that I support the Constitution which clearly requires due process. If you are in the military you swore an oath to uphold that Constitution. Which means you shouldn’t be jumping to any conclusions about his guilt and you should be telling others that have jumped to that conclusion that America doesn’t work that way. Now either admit that you are wrong and shouldn’t be jumping to conclusions on this subject or everyone that reads this will know you don’t take your oath seriously.

You don’t speak for me, Kyle. In fact, you sound like an angry imbecile.

Good thing they haven’t executed him yet, as advocated by “some people”, such as certain faux news “contributors”.
