Liz Cheney Attacks Rand Paul

Keeping warmongering in the family, Liz Cheney says Kentucky Senator Rand Paul gets his “foreign policy talking points from Rachel Maddow.

In an interview from 2009 which recently resurfaced, prior to launching his 2010 U.S. Senate campaign, Sen. Rand Paul (R-KY) tore into former Vice President Dick Cheney and the Bush administration’s approach to foreign affairs. In the interview, Paul implied strongly that Cheney’s connections to the contractor Halliburton informed the George W. Bush administration’s decision to invade Iraq. He added that the attacks of September 11 became “an excuse for a war they already wanted.”

“It’s not surprising since Senator Paul often seems to get his foreign policy talking points from Rachel Maddow,” Cheney asserted.
